I ended up with #4 since they were already heated so 0014 wasn't an option. My usual knife choice with doc is red micarta and #14 however this wasn't possible on this one.

I definitely won't be sticking around here very long. I've got a few people keeping their ears open for me and have checked the job service website. Not a lot out there locally right now, but something will pop up. I could pretty much get a job anywhere in the country, but you are right, I would like to stick around home. My mom is well, but my dad has been having some pretty major health issues. I want to be around for them. Lots of other things keeping me around too.

Also interviews are more behavioral than they are about skills, resume, etc, they want to see how you talk, act, rave, reave, and often as not they try to trick you into hanging yourself with your own rope. Or at least they do up here ;)

Some people fail interviews so bad, by being "honest" it's crazy. Police like this type of person too :) Confess!
 
Soooo, over the weekend my niehbor put his house up fore sale, they have only been there for about 1 yr. We have had about 4 families come and go from that place. Crazy thing is that the last 2 families have asked us if we know the history of the house, we always say no because we've only been here ourselves for about 3 years. They have both asked if someone has died in the house because stuff gets missed placed or they see shadows moving from the corner of there eyes. We have never mentioned it to anybody thats moved in, they just keep asking about the house... pretty freaken wierd... I am almost tempted to ask the current owners if they have noticed anything strange before they move out.
 
Or maybe some kind of mold problem. There are varieties of mold (usually "black molds" caused by water leaks) that give off toxins that can make one hallucinate, have difficulty breathing, experience neurological deficits and even die. Different people respond to the toxins differently.

Are those leather bands around your sheath only attached by the screws at the bottom?

Hah...I didn't mention the HQ motor oil that was 50% off! Yup...10qts of Quakerstate...mine!

FYI...the jerky and oil are all gone!
 
Been falling asleep early lately.... But waking up multiple times a night with my arms tingling like crazy... Like somehow every night I manage to sleep on both arms the wrong way.....

Anyways... Started a fire since I couldn't sleep... Now for my question.... If the burn barrel (made from a beer keg) starts glowing red, does that mean I need to add more fat lighter, or hurry and spray the barrel with freezing water?

It's a confusing situation for sure :D
