good guess -- C6 is where the radial/ulnar nerves branch off the spine.

Should work with Ramen or anything instant that needs water and a microwave. Which reminds me, I also can cook the Ramen that you're suppose to cook on the stove in the microwave. And I can cook bacon on the George Foreman grill. I could probably cook anything with any random appliance that generates enough heat. Not well, but it would be edible.

I don't even have a stove. I just mounted a few irons upside down on the counter.

And I night this last night....I might have a problem....

I see no problem.

It said boss on it. I thing it was fairly new. When did buck start making their boss line?

Aside from the fact that your auto-correct is messed up, BOS heat treating started showing up on Bucks (I think) around 2001....there's a whole story about Paul Bos on the Buck website. I had a Buck Vantage Pro that was a BOS blade.....traded it to a friend who wanted a made in the USA folder. Nice steel.

I just discovered this guys YouTube channel, he's awesome! His survival kit video is super funny!

That looks pretty....pretty unused. I have a 110 from the 70's or 80's. It looks nothing like that.....

Turns out my guesstimate wasn't far off. Just got out the knife and the Buck website says it was made 1974-1980. Needs a tip regrind and some TLC.

One of the first high quality folders I ever got. Traded a friend some bicycle stuff for it back in the mid-80's. Got my Gerber Clip (Blackie Collins) around the same time. Hard to believe.....I'm that old.

Yeah the phone is all I got anymore. I'll have to get a real 'puter one of these days.

Dang....after reading that I kinda wanna send my bk6 to them after it's ground.

Looks like the heater core on my K5 is leaking. Not sure if I'll be able to tear into it this weekend so hopefully it doesn't get much worse anytime soon.

Dang WW...my wife likes it when I smell like that
I have long hair so it really clings in there.

Let us know how that goes haha

Man I'd save money on soap and deodorant if I was you.... My beard absorbs all!

Lol

sounds like you may have a bulging disc in your neck (C6) that's pressing on a nerve when you don't lay on it just right.

:)

Is that something that fixes itself?

I was up and down again all night....

Years ago... Like 12 years ago... This same thing happened... I was laying cable in the ground back then (digging ditches) and thought I overworked my arm.... This same thing lasted a while and then disappeared...

Now fast forward... And here we are again... This time it could be aggravated because I have been chopping and loading/unloading/stacking a bunch of firewood...

I dunno... Not exactly painful..... Just annoying as hell. Hoping its not something requiring surgery or some crap... Already need surgery on my knee and I'm putting that off...

Think I'll have to go back to never sleeping if this keeps up.

Thanks for the info, I'll ask the doc to run some test if it doesn't go away soon.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope everyone has a good day and eats way too much. I'm going to lay down for a nap soon and will be headed to my brothers place this afternoon. What's everyone's plans?

Bos has been doing Buck heat treat protocols for some time. However, the 5160 (carbon steel) Buck 110's were a special offering that just happened recently.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I sincerely appreciate all the friends I've made and lively times I've had with y'all Beckerhead lunatics :)

Sounds like an awesome day JT. I also can make / serve breakfast but can't really make a cake. I let the professionals take care of that. Gonna bet you still got some pretty awesome points in for making the attempt ;)

I got smooches :)

There are a few dinner cruises like that in Chicago as well. They go out onto the lake for several hours. It's pretty nifty and the food is pretty satisfying as well. It isn't the best thing I've ever eaten but it is pretty good!

It's fun, innit? Fresh air, cruisin' along looking at the water and the town, the sunset and the stars, sipping a drink on deck... Hell, I even put on a clean shirt and blazer for the occasion... :p Good times

I could live in 120 square feet.......as long as I had a shop/garage that was about 1000 square feet.
Exactly. Modest house, full shop, big land/woods/garden is my pipe dream.
