Rokclmb, I have a question for you, if you don't mind this quick diversion. In your pics, I noticed you wear a hydration vest. I've recently started jogging and, living in the desert, would like to wear some water. I've researched all manner of hydration vests and like the looks of the Nathan Endurance and a Gregory whose name I've forgotten. What do you wear, and what do you look for in a good vest? Thanks in advance! If the mods would prefer this question become a separate thread, just let me know.
3/4 mile warm up walk and 1/4 mile of step boxes during circuit weights.. 16.5 ttd
Love the pics!
Thanks
I do what I can. So far I'm a about 3/4 of the way to my goal for the month, right on track for my low goal for the year and a little bit behind my main goal for the year.
4.5 mile run....man, i'm gettin the hang of this
40 BPs
Ran 4 8:50 beach miles
Total=26.8 miles
1 mile walk on intervals - 1
6 mile bike ride on fat burn - 1.5
1 mile walk on heavy hills - 1
3.5 + 16.5 = 20 ttd
Currently I'm wearing an Ultimate Direction SJ Ultra Vest. I like it because it has two water bottles in pocket on my chest, but also could hold a Camelbak style bladder in the back. I like the dual water bottles because when I'm running and it's very hot I can carry water in one and Gatorade in the other.
3/4 mile warm up and 1/4 mile of step boxes... I need to pick it up if I am going to complete this month..
21 ttd
Thanks for your reply, rokclmb! I'd completely ignored water bottle vests until reading your reply. I like the idea of bringing both water and Gatorade, and the ability to hold a bladder makes the SJ much more attractive to me. I'm going to look further into this model. Thanks again!
Ran a 6-miler, tying my personal best that i set sometime last week. Feelin good! though my legs feel like jello....

Awesome! Good luck! There's a run in Dunedin, FL that I've run the past two years, and I'm hoping for this year also, that is a 1 mile, a 5k and a 10k.maybe ive bitten off more than i can chew, but I've signed myself up for a 5k and a 10k this weekend....

That being said....February MYB Challenge COMPLETE!
