Awesome! Good luck! There's a run in Dunedin, FL that I've run the past two years, and I'm hoping for this year also, that is a 1 mile, a 5k and a 10k.

Great job

Thanks! I'm sure a 10k, 5k and a 1miler would be a walk in the park for you. Is that your pre-workout warmup? :D

11.55 miles yesterday - first bike ride of the year!! And after a 2.3 mile walk today, 16.49 BP's for February. Not likely to make 50!

maybe ive bitten off more than i can chew, but I've signed myself up for a 5k and a 10k this weekend....

Anyways, I just returned from a 4-and-some-change mile run, but we'll just make it an even 4 for argument sake. My body was fighting me the whole way, definitely wasn't feeling it today, not sure why.

That being said....February MYB Challenge COMPLETE!

50bps

I ran both my first 5k and my first 10k this morning! I'm exhausted and sore, but feel very accomplished. :D :D

59.3 BPs

G&B - please tell me those weren't two separate runs in one morning! Great job either way.

Spent last night soldering and re-soldering a wire, so no walk.
But got out for a 6 mile mountain bike ride this afternoon. 30.5 + 3 = 33.5 BP to date.

I'd recommend, just like any other backpack, shop around and find one that fits the best.

Thus far, I've done lots of online research, but not in-person testing; this purchase is via Amazon gift card. Your advice is best though - each body is individually shaped, and two packs with the same size and features will often feel completely different when worn. I wonder which hydration vests my local REI carries. Thanks for your feedback, it's been helpful. What do you like about the SJ as opposed to other bottle-holding packs/vests?

2/22: 3.02 miles on the gym stair-stepper/escalator machine

Current Total BPs: 23.3

I don't think I'll make 50 again this month. Doggone, getting sick and busy with work really set me back :(

They were :D

I completed the 5k and then the 10k started about 25 minutes later.

Needless to say, my legs were lead-weights by the end of it :D

No doubt!
I haven't done a 10k since probably 2007. I couldn't imagine starting one up right after a 5K as my first distance run! So props to you.

I jogged a mile today for 1 point, played tennis for 1/2 hr for fun with my daughter, and walked 3 miles later in the afternoon.

TTD: 33.5 + 4 = 37.5 BP.

Finally got some woods time in this last weekend...
Saturday got a little over a 3 mile hike in.. 3
Sunday walked all over the property, pedometer said 5.8 miles when I left.. 5.8
This morning did a mile warm up walk on intervals and 1/4 mile of step boxes.. 1.2

10 for the weekend.. 35.4 ttd.. not sure if I am going to make this months challenge..

3/4 mile warm up walk on intervals .7
1/4 mile step boxes - .2

25.4 ttd

... What do you like about the SJ as opposed to other bottle-holding packs/vests?

I liked the materials that Ultimate Direction used for their "Signature Series" running vests. They are VERY light weight but still have a large capacity. The SJ is the middle size. The AK is smaller and the PB is larger carrying capacity. I picked the middle because I didn't think I would need tons of room but it is nice to have a little more than you think you'll need.

4 mile walk tonight. 41.5BP. Getting closer - too bad it's a short month.
