Ahh, they fixed the smileys !!!!;) I'm really starting to warm up to this, although I agree it needs some color or something to make it easier on the eyes..

After the last 5 years at my place of business ... this little change is hardly noticeable.

Frankly, I feel like an overwhelmed veteran of the "Change Wars."

From ragweedforge. I'm sold.

This page can be viewed with any browser, including text browsers like LYNX. It will not blink, bark at you, or layer frames. There are no scrolling banners, spinning heads, or pop-up ads that won't go away. You'll just have to read it!

But it will load quickly.

Why, you ask? Because it was originally put up with a 286. When I first got on the web, my main browser was the server based text browser LYNX. While I have upgraded several times now, I'm still considering the new stuff. I'm under whelmed by the possibilities. Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should do so. The more I view pages with multiple frames, cluttered graphics, animated gifs and blinking icons, the more I appreciate clear, full screen pages.

this thread has nothing to do with Beckers. add Becker content or it's getting moved or closed. ;)

Notice how the new layout makes the BK14 appear larger then the Izula??

also makes the picture appear blurry :D

This forum layout is like many others. I guess that's why the change isn't really that "noticeable" to me.

Bladite is right. I started this thread, thinking it would blossom and die pretty fast. It didn't.
I'm merging it into Beckerhead Chat, because that's really where this conversation belonged in the first place.

ETA: If you want to whine, moan, throw a temper tantrum, etc. this is your place.
However, I also suggest putting constructive comments into that long Tech Support thread.
Spark seems willing to listen to suggestions, and while he's mainly prioritizing function right now, he'll also get to layout and design.

I told him I could fix it up for him, but he wanted a new one.

Came out pretty nice.......

That looks sweet flexxx! My favorite rifle ever made! I would choose this gun over any other in shtf scenario. Have you seen the Target tactical model? It's sweet, bull barrel, Hogue stock, and pic. Rail. Planning on coating the bare metal?

Planning on coating the bare metal?

Not sure how to coat it......
I was thinking about blueing it, but I have no idea how

Might just leave it like it is and keep a eye on it, I take good care of my gear

Nice work, Flexxx! That 10/22 sure looks respectable now.
Man, I've had a jones to pick one of those rifles up as of late. Used to go out with my grandfather to the old rock quarry and plink away at shot glasses and tin cans with his Ruger. Good memories.

Wow, kudos to you for that 10/22... I wish I was allowed to own a gun. If I was, it would be a good old Ruger 10/22, refurbished by Flexxx.

So where's the insanity? That's pretty normal around these parts, only it's usually a Dodge pickup, an old lady in a goat mask, and a ukulele instead.
