Beckerhead firearms

I really want to, but it will be a few months before I have the money :( I'm think it will make a nice woods gun

Maybe you could charge people to pelt you with oranges...

My main woods gun is a 4" Ruger GP100 loaded with 180 hard cast lead ammo from Buffalo Bore.

Was checking out BB's site and they have some impressive .45 loads that could make my 625 a good woods gun as well.

Did some shopping today came home with a nice haul.

Top is a Remington SPR 100 12ga. Middle is a Mossberg 395KB 12ga with c-lect-choke. Bottom is an NEF Handi-rifle in .30-06 and underneath the camo paint is a laminated wood stock.

Never seen a bolt action shotgun before. Had no idea such a thing existed... Learn something new everyday.

Did a Google search, "bolt action shotgun".
Wow!
Just when I think I know quite a bit about something, (guns), I find out I really don't know all that much...
Kind of humbling...in a good way...

They are pretty cool. Odd enough to be appealing but common enough to be cheap. Passed up a Marlin Goose Gun, which is also a bolt-action, with a 36" barrel. But it was something like $270 and I just wasn't in the mood to spend that much on it.

I killed my first Armadillo with my Grandfather's bolt action .410 shotgun, a New Haven Model 283TB made by Mossberg.

Had to go rummage through the 'gun safe' (ie spare bedroom closet) to find it.

Damn, brings back good times like it happened yesterday. Thanks for the sparking the trip down memory lane.

So you dug it out and fondled it, but you didn't take pics to show the rest of us? For shame.

Sorry. You know how it goes ... a little fondling, some caressing, one thing leads to another, then slip away for some 'us' time.

But here's a morning-after pic. The Mossberg 283 is on top. The bottom is a Stevens Model 15-A .22 single-shot by Savage that was given to my Father as his first gun. Killed my first beer can with that one!

Very nice. First rifle was similar but a Springfield, a lot of prairie dogs with that gun, gophers too.

I am sending this old Ruger to an uncle out of state. He always wanted to shoot a .44 magnum.

Besides, he gave me a 12 gauge bolt-action shotgun...pictures unavailable as of now...sorry. I'll see about that after dinner.

sending how? :D

i love the original Ruger .44 carbine. great gun.

I used to have a Blackhawk in .45 Colt. Loved the gun but ammo was pricey. Would love to get an unfluted Super Blackhawk.
