I really want to, but it will be a few months before I have the moneyI'm think it will make a nice woods gun
Never seen a bolt action shotgun before. Had no idea such a thing existed... Learn something new everyday.
Did a Google search, "bolt action shotgun".
Wow!
Just when I think I know quite a bit about something, (guns), I find out I really don't know all that much...
Kind of humbling...in a good way...

I killed my first Armadillo with my Grandfather's bolt action .410 shotgun, a New Haven Model 283TB made by Mossberg.
Had to go rummage through the 'gun safe' (ie spare bedroom closet) to find it.
Damn, brings back good times like it happened yesterday. Thanks for the sparking the trip down memory lane.
Sorry. You know how it goes ... a little fondling, some caressing, one thing leads to another, then slip away for some 'us' time.So you dug it out and fondled it, but you didn't take pics to show the rest of us? For shame.

But here's a morning-after pic. The Mossberg 283 is on top. The bottom is a Stevens Model 15-A .22 single-shot by Savage that was given to my Father as his first gun. Killed my first beer can with that one!
