Beckerhead firearms

I couldn't argue with free. :D I really should re-blue the barrel, and probably have the chamber cleaned up by a smithy, but it shoots good.

Sears, Roebuck and Co. no less! :)

What gauge is it? I used to have one in a 12 gauge but it was pretty worn out when I got it. Beat on it for a few years and unloaded it for parts after I found out about a recall way back on the 12's.

It's a 12 gauge, the screw retaining the bolt assembly was the culprit. If the screw pops out, the bolt comes right out the back of the gun.

Some really nice pieces here... Just finished an AR build myself.

Made a deal on this baby today. Will be picking it up as soon as the paperwork is ready. Minus the optic though, so i'll be needing a good scope for it.

That's one of the few non-paddle release handguns I've still got on my list, Qeth. I'd like to try out the XD mod 2, and I'm really digging this little Beretta Bobcat. But a nice CZ-75 or 85 would be hard to pass up. I think when I get one, I'll get a customized ambi version. If they made a version with the German style paddle mag release, I'd be ALL over that. I couldn't hand them money fast enough.

Shooting the CZ75 is almost cheating...QUOTE]
especially after a little tweeking. Mine has a lightened hammer, firing pin and recoil springs. Trigger pull in DA is 6lbs and Sa about 2.5. I would so love to ship it down to CZ customs for a full workover but there is so much involved in shipping and getting it back that has prevented me from doing that. One of the guys I shoot uspsa and 3 gun with has the sp01 accu shadow and its freeking amazing!!!!

Which CZ75 do you have? Stock CZ75 SP01 tactical SA is pretty damn sweet, but the DA (even the half cock from decocking) is pretty heavy. Wouldn't mind lightening it up.

I shot my SP01 tac today, and after shooting my XD tac 45 this thing feels like a 22. High bore, lightweight, larger caliber of the xd vs low bore, heavy weight, smaller caliber of the SP01. Couldn't get over how short the factory reset was (at least when compared to the factory XD trigger).
