Beckerhead firearms

I need a K6S. I heard that S&W is coming out with a 2.75" barreled version of the 66 and 69 models which makes a lot of sense and I don't know why they haven't don't it already.

Trying out the Magpul GL9 Glock mags in my G19. Out of three and several hundred rounds I've had one issue. One of the mags that was brand new before today bound up when I was loading it and I couldn't get all 15 rounds in. I unloaded and loaded it again and it worked fine, I've had the same thing happen a few times with factory Glock mags so as long as they feed fine I'm not worried about it. Thumbs up for Magpul GL9's.

I've had good luck with the one Magpul Glock mag I have as well.
Also voted, and came home somewhat later with an XDs 4.0 in .45-which is a nice rig
 
I'm sticking with the factory Glock magazines for now. Glad to hear good reviews of the Pmags though.
Picked up my G17 Gen 4 from Glockmeister...with a few customizations! Great place to buy a Glock.
And who doesn't need factory 33 rounders!!??
 
I have the factory mags for when it counts. But the Pmags are $10 cheaper so I'll let them hit the dirt and take the wear from training.
 
I'm not a fan of the pmags. They don't like to drop free from mine. Well I take that back. I think one out of the 5 today I've had did drop free. The rest had time get pulled.
 
Going to start working on my Kimber to make it what I want. I ordered a new Ed Brown mainspring housing and magwell, gi guide rod and recoil spring plug. Both major yet, but I will eventually be doing some trigger work and swapping sights.
 
Nice. I need want to get some work done on my SA Operator but I'm trying to focus on my Glocks first since I actually carry those. But I keep getting distracted by new stuff. I am getting sights and mags ordered in between and I just ordered a few different boxes of hollow points to try out. Might send my G17 off for a grip reduction at some point.
 
I always have a bunch of projects I want to do too. I've been looking hard at getting another 1911 lately. I really like what the Springfield TRP has to offer, but if I'm going to spend $1,300ish on one, I may as well save a little longer and pick up a Les Baer around $1,800. Decisions decisions.......

Parts should be here for my Kimber tomorrow. I'll probably swap the parts out tomorrow evening and post a pic of the changes.
 
I have been thinking about building a 1911. Might be a fun project. If I do I think I would go 10mm.

1911 parts didn't show up today..... hopefully tomorrow. I did score some 22lr when I was out of town though. The place I was at had the most 22lr I've seen since 2008. CCI, Federal, Aguilla, and Winchester of all sorts and no limits. I picked up 2 boxes of Federal Automatch and a 500rd box of CCI Standard Velocity. I think I will have to get out a couple 22s and do some shooting soon.
 
Those Ruger 1911s are supposed to be in really well. I've thought about picking up one myself, but I think I'm going to go higher end on my next 1911. Nice purchase!
