Beckerhead firearms

supposedly military standard was always "cruiser ready" - empty chamber but ready to go. probably safer for fires and cook offs too.

Ya, I would carry with one in the tube, but it would be racked off the top of the 8rd mag. Empty the gun and put the ready-round back on the stop of the stack. It's not what the IDPA rules required, but those rules were a little too rigid.

Hamden Supermatic 102? Check.

Wrapped up this beauty today since the Talley rings finally arrived. :) The crappy pictures don't do the wood's figure any justice. I'll have to try and get better photos when I have a little more time.

It's a new CZ550 Satin Lux in .308WIN w/ a Bushnell 3-12x44 LRHS in Talley medium rings (I couldn't find low rings for CZ's proprietary rail anywhere).

My dad has one, fluted barrel and all the trimmings. Awesome piece. One day it will be mine, I can wait

My carry is a CZP01. Compact (enough), acurate as hell, perfect extention of my hand. First CZ but wont be my last.

My LEO trade-in M&P 45 came in but it turns out its the model with a magazine disconnect, which I don't like. Supposed to be easy to remove but I would have preferred not having it in the first place.

Nice P-01.
That would be my pick in a 9mm carry pistol.

I am fairly surprised by this, but I have never owned a more accurate handgun than this Ruger SR1911. It is minute-of-golfball accurate at other side of pond range.

Officially, :thumbup::thumbup:

Nice.
Ruger has a fantastic history of modernizing the manufacture of classic designs. Their non-skinny-barrel firearms tend to be well tuned in the ways that matter. 1911's have such great accuracy potential when well-fit in just a couple key places, and the ergos are hard to beat for precision shooting.

This one is a real pleasure to shoot indeed. The trigger is amazing. I have to admit, I've been shooting striker fired pistols a lot lately....:D

Just curious, what problems are the having? It's good to know these things.

Light primer strikes, I think because of firing pin channel getting dirty. On average about 250 rounds. That unacceptable in a duty gun. I have regularly had shooting sessions with my MP and glock that went beyond 500 rounds without a problem.....

really selective on ammo, the gun needs to be well maintained..... in the LEO world that not always a good thing... My glock has always gone bang!!....

magazine binds from time to time, IE magazine shows fully loaded with 17 but only has 16 because spring bound up....

There are 2 mag designs, I think its the newer one.... When pulling base plate design is flawed because base plate locks tend to break.

Its a fair design just needs to be re worked.... our agency should of gone with a different manufacturer.

My dad carried one ever day for a year while in a combat zone and never had a problem

The 320 just came out not too long ago ....2014 I think

.... You probably mean the 226,7,8,9.... this is a striker fired design.... totally different

My bad entirely, I thought you were quoting the 1911 comment. I should probably learn to read...:o
