Good news for me; a guy at work is gonna sell me a Burris fast fire 3 for $50!!! I'm pretty excited about it! Not sure what imma put it on but it'll be awesome!

I got the fastfire today. Damn,I didn't realize how small this this actually is!! I think I'll put it on my NAA .22 mag revolver. Hahaha

I might buy something that goes bang today. Possibly a M&P Shield or a compact M&P. Maybe a jframe revolver or a rifle. It all depends on if I find a decent price or not. Pics tonight if I do!

No luck on buying a new gun today. Scheels is just overpriced on guns anymore. Almost $500 for a S&W 642, $430 for a Shield, no compacts in stock. Used guns were marked for what new prices should be. Didn't even look at rifles. I'll have to check with the guy here in town and see what I can get a shield or compact for. He can usually do pretty decent.

Yeah, the one time I went to one of those places they had the new Kimber K6s tagged at MSRP. A basic 642 with or without lock will cost right at $400 to order online and have it shipped to an FFL and I think that also includes background check when I was comparing prices at the last gunshow.

The new Army pistol is the M17, basically a Sig P320 with a manual thumb safety on the frame where it should be. Assuming the gun works as intended it will be a huge improvement over the M9.

Ordered a Primary Arms 4-14 scope for my 20" flat top AR15. Should be a fun plinker for the 200 yard lane at the shooting range. Sadly that's the longest lane they have but hopefully that will be changing at some point.

I've had a P320C for about a year or so and a bit over a thousand rounds through it. Have had three FTExtract all with the same ammo (GECO). The gun is no doubt a shooter with a good trigger for a striker fired piece. I like it overall and carry it sometimes. The modular thing is pretty cool and I've picked up a couple of frames cheap.

well crap.
Brownell's had a half-time special of almost half price on an Anderson AR15 -- ran out of stock while I was in the process of checking out, which cancelled my order. :(

daaaaaaamn.

I successfully re-pinned the rear sight on my E. Hartford High Standard Sharpshooter. Can't wait to sight it in again, that's been nagging at me forever.

yeah - I don't actually need an AR, but for $300 I couldn't say no, could I?

For $300 even I would have gone for it. Dang, but for the paperwork.... I already have a receiver.

I woulda been in on one for $300 too. I don't need one either, but yeah.

Ordered a few more things for my Kimber today. Set of VZ grips, recoil spring plug, and a Wilson bulletproof slide stop/release. I'd like to do some internal work and maybe a fiber optic front sight as well, but I'll need a pro to do that for me. I don't think we have anyone good with 1911s around here, so I'll eventually have to send it off.

Been looking for a Miroku (Browning or Winchester, dinna matter) 1886 at the last four shows I've set up at...but what should walk by Sat. AM but a user-grade (skillfully tapped for a scope mount, but tapped) 22" Win. 71 from the '30's...guess I'm gonna need some .348 dies because buying two boxed of factory ammo hurt worse than buying the dang rifle
