I found a compromise between the two.

A ten hour day at work, half hour drive to get home, straight to an hour back workout kicked my ass today.

Putting another screw on the other end ain't gonna do it. Ever see two nuts used against each other as lock nuts? That's the same physics you're doing by tightening one screw down on the other.

Yeah, I figured I could force the other one out by going in the back with another one, not enough friction to make it twist out.

*Now on a quest to find the rare and mysterious needle nose pliers!*
 
Mornin' all. Had a rough night at work tonight. Had a wheel bearing/hub cover break and leak all the gear oil out. Caught that before I got in the truck though, so no harm done. Got the mail loaded up and headed out and blew a trailer tire. Got the remnants of the tire off the rim and got going again. Did my layover and when it was almost time to go I was loading the trailer and one of the postal workers ran the cage he was loading into the one I was loading and the door on it flung open and smacked me right under the eye. I'm not sure how it hit me as hard as it did, but I believe I'll have a shiner when I wake up this afternoon.

I'm glad to be home for sure. :thumbup: When I got home I did have a new KFU knife in the mailbox, so I was pretty pumped about that. Got a good meal in my belly and now I'm watching westerns for a while before bed.

Ok, since Thrillbilly has disappeared with several knives, I think someone needs to get a GBU thread going, for leverage. I been trying to contact him, but nothing so far.

See if we can't turn up the heat a little. He doesn't have anything of mine, or I would get one going, but if one of you that has lost something to him recently, get one going, so we can all voice our opinion, it will help as leverage.

Cousins...all ready for the trip I'm taking my son on tomorrow. Camping (supposed to be 45F at night), hiking, climbing, geocaching. I might break his little 7-year old brain or he'll break my 32 year old body.

i also have been trying to contact him. next monday i'm suggesting we pull his BH number. then after another week or so, we have a talk with Spark.

just ain't right, walking off with a rare pass around, and all those other knives and paid work. not unless he's got a HELL of a story. and proof :P

suggest the GBU, it may not get his attention, but it should hopefully prevent more loss.

I'm not gonna wait a week to pull his number. If I don't get a reply to the email I sent this morning, its gone tonight.

As far as Spark, I'll call him, but we'll have a discussion in the Backend first, and it should be pretty simple and quick to get done what needs to be done.

I want the stuff returned, and a person getting their name smeared all over the internet as someone not to deal with, has turned a few folks back into the order of the righteous.

We'll see.
