Beer talk

Tonight a new brew from Full Sail, 21 Anniversary Doppelbock, 22oz. Bomber, 8% ABV, this is a very tasty brew, recommended.

Tonight a Haandbryggeriet Dark Force, Russian Imperial Stout, 16.9oz, 9% ABV, it's a tasty brew.

Another for me tonight, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter, 12oz., 4.7% ABV, not too bad, tasty.

Tonight a Brouwerij De Molen, Rasputin, 750ml, RIS, 11% ABV. This is a very nice/tasty brew, reminds me of a RIS/BSDA hybrid, highly recommended.

Had the UBU from the Lake Placid Pub & Brewery (LPPB) tonight; what a nice and fresh brew! Way to go LPPB!

Today, this is my 1500th review on BA. This is a very tasty brew, Odell Woodcut No. 1 - Oak Aged Ale, 750ml, 10.6% ABV. Cheers!

My second for the day, Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest-Marzen, 12oz, 5.8% ABV, a nice one.

Finished off the Duvels I had last night. Probably going to finish off a few Road Slush stouts tonight. I was eyeing up a Koning Hoeven Quadrupel anyone know anything about it?

Last night I had a Southern Tier Unearthly DIPA. Tasty, it had wheat in it too, gave it an apply scent, interesting twist from a regular IPA.

They had samples of Rogue Ales Dead Guy Ale at the store today. I thought it was pretty darn good so I picked some up. It should go good with the roast I also got for tomorrow.

I only drink the majors. Macrobeers taste skunky. I don't drink any brand that has been created after 1960...the year I was born.

The oldest beer in North America is Molson, btw.

I like Rolling Rock.

For imported I drink Boddingtons, Molsen Golden, Fosters, Sapporo, Grolsch...or anything German. It's impossible to get a bad German beer.

Rolling Rock.

It's brewed in glass lined barrels at Old Latrobe.

Leinenkugel's from Wisonsin is good. But not their specialty flavors. Just the original Leinenkugel's. Wisconsin has a lot of good local brands. Point, from Stevens Point is another good 'un.
