Beer talk

New Glarus I'm trying all of what they offer. This one comes in a 4 pack. Bohemian Lager a pretty tasty beer. I liked it even though I prefer a darker beer.
Btw I like the Alt more and more as I drink more of it.

Hm, I think I could get used to the guys in this part of the forum :)

I suppose my first "beer post" will be one of my all-time favorites, the Duchesse De Bourgogne, a Flemish Red Ale. Comes in a 22oz. or a 4 pack. It's a Belgian, and almost tastes like a barley wine. An excellent dessert beer.

Brown Shugga is finally available, picked up a six pack for tonight. Also grabbed a Stone Double Bastard, tonight should be very warm :D

2 x Guiness, Don Williams (good ole boys like me) Rita Cooledge (fever), Eddie Brickhill (little Ms S) - Friday arvey.

Soooooooooooooo whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

My brains are in my feet!

Been Working on a Unibroue mix pack since yesterday. I had had the Trois Pistoles a while ago, and thought it was pretty good, worth picking up a four pack of now and then to keep around. I had the Dan De Dieu yesterday, I didn't think it wasn't terrible, but it didn't appeal to me.

Tonight I'm drinking the La Fin Du Monde, this is my favorite so far, and I think it's working amazingly with the chinese take out I'm eating. I didn't really think that combo was gonna work out, but it seems alright! lol I'm just sipping it through the meal, I'm saving most of it for when I'm done eating.

I picked up one of each of the Chimays for the holidays. I've never had a Chimay before and think I'll start with the red then the white and finish with the blue.

Chimays are good, the blue is my favorite. It has a thicker, sweeter "figgy" flavor, excellent for drinking by a fire.

Tonight I'm having a Southern Tier Choklat. It's an imperial stout brewed with chocolate, it's delicious, tastes like a brownie with a caramel ribbon. Goes down really easy, it's hard to take my time with it, it's 11% abv, but I would have never guessed that much if I hadn't looked it up.

For Christmas Eve, I'm going to grab a few favorites to keep me warm. A La Binchoise Noel (favorite Belgian ever), and a Stone Double Bastard to start.

The beer thread again! I'm drinking a Koningshoeven Quad tonight, I also picked the Koningshoeven Triple for another night. It's nice to be able to enjoy this alone tonight, I've been a busy guy lately and my fridge is getting full!

Went on a cheap beer spree this week, I bought a case of Schlitz and my roommate found some "Beer 30 Ice". The latter is undrinkable, but the Schlitz isn't too bad, a lot like PBR which I hold close to my country heart.

I've been enjoying the North Coast imperial stout a lot lately, very good stuff. Also taken a liking to oatmeal stouts, Breckenridge Brewery makes one of my favorites.

Hoo boy, you'd be in real trouble out here. I'm an hour's drive from Breck. Half an hour to Idaho Springs (where the Tommyknocker brewery is - LOVE their Maple Nut Brown).

Colorado's a dangerous place to be a beer drinker.

Samael, we actually get quite a few Colorado brews where I'm at in Nebraska. But I would be in big trouble that close to the Breckenridge Brewery, although it would probably keep me from buying so many knives.

Just had a Maple Nut Brown a couple days ago, I didn't like it all that much. It did make me hungry for pancakes though!
