Beer talk

I'm off to get some Guiness. For some obscure reason my maid decided to pack all the loose strips of meds in the fridge into my box of daily dose long acting antihistamine. Being identical in looks I now have to try and relax on a Friday afternoon with a headache from sinus and Ritalin.
At least it didn't get the lizard poo treatment!

Nice pics, AWUK

Today, a very tasty BSDA, highly recommended if you can find it. Olfabrikken Kloster Jule, I'm really enjoying it. Cheers!

Tonight I sat back and slowly enjoyed a 12oz bottle of Kuhnhenn Fourth Dementia Old Ale. BAM! This think is loaded with intense flavor! There is some hops there, but the sweet dark fruit malt clearly wins the battle. Good job, Kuhnhenn! Now, do I dare to open a bottle of their Raspberry Eisbock ;)

A 750ml cork 'n' caged bottle (#3853) of Boulevard Imperial Stout tonight. A little hoppier than my preference, but not bad after the first half-glass (55 IBU's; 9-11% ABV, depending on who you believe). Followed by a couple Fat Tires...

I had a New Glarus Bohemian Lager. First beer this year. I may have to drink a Sam Adams Cream Stout also. I think I saw it smiling at me. :)

A look inside Bethel Ridge Brewery.

We are a small outfit as you can see; owner/operated and tonight we are drinking a two dollar stout that cost 50 cents to produce.

A tip of the hat to all home brewers and all the great beer you bring to the pallet.

Bottoms up, Fred

Leffe blonde. Not quite as good as Duvel, but also not quite as incapacitating.:D

This afternoon a pretty tasty Irish Red Ale from Three Floyds, Brian Boru Old Irish Red.

Currently sipping an Urthel Samaranth Quadrupel- @11.5%, "Sipping" is necessary :-)
This one didn't have the usual Belgian foamy head...Fruity and "sweet", very pleasant. 330 ml was not enough - MORE!!! :o

Had a Bell's Hopslam today. I cann't believe how good it is. It could very easily be my favorite DIPA.
