GEC has forwarded this based on my input as this year's Traditional Forum Knife

I strongly prefer natural materials, so Jigged Bone is perfect in my view. We are looking at 600ish pieces this year, pricing to come. Before anyone asks, yes this will come with a button too.

2023 marks the 25th year of BladeForums, so this will be a special offering. We still have time to get the front and back labels together for this so I'm open to suggestions or submissions.

Like last year, you will need to be an active member of the Traditional forum to purchase these (25+ posts in this forum, member since before Jan 1, 2023) or have a Gold or higher membership.

EDIT: A sharp eyed member pointed out that there appears to be a rendering error in the middle picture; they are correct, this is a two blade design, not a 3 blade
yes, I would like to have one of these!

The excerpt that I shared did not reference the Norfolk at all. I don't think this is a Norfolk or I would not have shared the page about a swelled center congress.
out of curiosity- what does Levine say about Norfolks?

For traditional knives being as popular as they are (and have been), I'm really surprised locking down archetypal patterns isn't easier.

While this knife does not easily fit into a standard pattern (at least to my eye), I would call it a stout Norfolk half-whittler.

I am wondering if it is a 1 or 2 spring knife. I love a good 1-spring knife if executed well, but with longer blades they might be more likely to rub together.

I couldn't have come up with any better if I had tried. What a great pattern.
I'm so in for this one.

How many springs will be on this frame? Forgive me if that's been covered, but very curious if one spring or two?

Case called their 46 pattern a humpback. Looks a lot like this one. OTOH, as we all know, hardly anything is written in stone when it comes to pocket knife patterns.
Spark/Bill can call it whatever they want. I appreciate that this is happening. I'm in thumb.gif

Spark Spark , please make it easier for anybody that has to or needs to buy it from outside of the US.

For European buyers I would sugest either direct shipping from the US or also using the German GEC dealer that runs a proper online shop and covers the EU.

Many thanks , gorgeous knife
That dealer does not ship to all European countries though so that is a no.
Shipping directly from the US is the best (cheapest and fastest) option.
