Benchmade Discussion without Politics or Insults

So how do you explain the gains with companies that one political party or the other has decided to boycott? As for their knives, even the people who have a strong stance against Benchmade politically agree that their knives and customer service are top notch. So the majority haven’t had a bad experience at all. Just a political decision that has people upset. That means their decision would be seen as a good one to the other political side. I’m sure if CNN cared to cover all this, people who don’t even carry or use knives would flock to BM just because of their political stance. Which is also stupid because they’re buying a product they’d never use and have no knowledge of the quality, just jumping on a political bandwagon.
TLDR

Thanks for the heads up guys. Since you all boys are gonna run Benchmade out of business I'm ordering my 940, 531 and 4400 tonight. Better get 'em while the gettin's good!

I assume because you don’t know how. You’re a troll man. Don’t like benchmades? Why are you on their sub forum?
Thought you had me on ignore? Funny.

You said you were leaving this conversation and would not discuss your beliefs. You lied.
You said you put me on ignore. You lied.

Poor self controll? Keep trying, you haven't convinced anyone of anything..have you?

Don't stop with those! You need to buy thousands more to help the company you sympathize with.. come on, tap into that savings.

Doesn't seem like a logical thing to do does it? It is amusing to watch some people keep talking here when the vast majority is laughing at them.
Yea the ones who either can’t read or have no interest in a civil discussion are the ones laughing. A typical response when there’s nothing constructive they can add. I had some fun conversation with someone earlier about how cool a knife made from those destroyed guns would be (repurposing materials) and also some economics that I guess those aforementioned people lack an understanding of.

Stock prices are not based solely on sales, and companies can falsely increase stocks with things like short selling. You have to look at the long term picture as there has been many companies that have had a huge gain (Sometimes the biggest in their history) to simply have a sudden and sharp fall sending them into bankruptcy. People keep bringing up Gillette but the truth is they have been in trouble for a few years now ever since they were bought out by P&G.

You should wait for a few weeks there's gonna be a sale soon ;)

I was never a big Benchmade fan bc they refuse to sell the Omega spring mech ("you'll need to send it in sir"...) forcing users to make their own out of memory wire or whatever they can find. They also either haven't figured out, or more likely at this point, just flat out refuse to countersink their clip bolts on a handful of popular models, which causes bolt heads to stick out and shread pockets as well as makes for a clumsy pull/return. ProTech cracked the code on this years ago. I see stuff like that, from the perspective of a person who works in the CNC field and just scratch my head??? I just drilled and tapped a deep carry clip on a BM Proper w/ Flytanium scales this week for a guy and posted the results. I have already recieved a handful of requests from interested Proper owners to mount a clip on theirs as well. I just sit back and wonder, why isn't BM offering the Proper w/ a clip, theres obviously a solid demand, my Reddit inbox is profe of that. I know BM makes amazing products with fantastic designs because I've seen them naked and they have a sterling customer service reputation, but they seem to always be late to the party and giving the customer what they think they should have and not what they're screaming for. This PR boner really doesn't change my outlook on BM, bc it was already iffy at best. I carry a Microtech, Protech or Kershaw most days, BM just helps my PP balance stay healthy with side jobs, so meh...

No way man. Now's the time to buy them on the 2nd hand market in firesale fashion, everyone seems to be selling and it's softening the market as I type, it's a BM gold rush! Retails for suckers.

It is mind boggling that you are so assured of your position, to the point of belittling those on the other side, despite the ratio of people still favoring benchmade after their multiple blunders. Even within benchmade's subforum, you are in the minority. Outside of this subforum, the ratio is much more extreme. But of course, schadenfreude is all you are after.

I never liked Benchmade before hand and think they have poor customer service. They did not honor their lifetime warranty. They did not not refund the product amount nor replace it with a equal item.

They gave me two options when I sent them my pacific cutlery with a cracked handle. They said the knife is discontinued and they no longer stock parts for it. So they gave me two options.
1. they will return the knife to me unfixed in the same condition at their expense.
2. $75 dollar gift card to only their website where it's MSRP prices and charges high shipping fees.

I took the gift card and sold it. I don't own any benchmade knives.

However if you are boycotting them by destroying their products, I mean sure it's your stuff but you could donate them to people who could use them. I wouldn't buy a bechmade knife but ill take your free benchmades.

If you want to boycott then do so by not buying new products of theirs, not destroy your existing products lol.

Sympathize? Sympathize? Sad that you don't recognize the difference between sympathy and greed.
