I was itching to finally test out my blood groove grinding attachment. I didn't feel like messing around practicing with scraps, so I made a quick sketch on a piece of W2 and went for it. This piece will have a curved blood groove, long swedge, tapered tang, distal taper, and a hamon... something will have to go wrong.

Very uniform. Can the attachment be adjusted to taper the ends of the grooves similar to the way CPK tapers theirs?

It comes with various sized wheels. Beyond that it's up to the user to scheme up jigs, rests, or freehand. Obviously the easiest thing is a straight slot. I'm sure that with practice it will be possible to finesse the plunge. I was just trying to keep following the curve.

Very nice. Hard to find a wharnie fixed blade that is sizable - most of them seem to be about 3" or less. I might have to reach out to him.

Petr does amazing work, and I believe the Seax is in his standard offering now. BTW, it comes in Elmax.

This is mine in his work thread: Large Seax

When you scroll down through the thread, you will find a slightly smaller version, too. He does a Harpoon Wharnie, too.

Super nice.
How do you find it's utility in use?

Here is my EDC from Petr. Great size for a pocket fixie.
Edit: 3,8mm thick Elmax steel. 19cm oal and 9,5cm blade lenght. G10 and carbon pins on handle.
