Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

That IS lucky Bob!! I had never heard that story.
I know that Jason loves his. So much so i haven't been able to talk him out of it...yet!!
I'm holding off on the "not a survival knife" in favour of a Behemoth.

Correct me if I am wrong but I don't think that there ever was any opportunity on the HC! Only a handful or so exist in the wild and apparently they are all in the hands of the principals, really close associates, trusted friends/testes/reviewers/collector(s)...

P.S. Never mind. Justin corrected me!

this really deserves to be quoted again

If you look CLOSELY at Mat's first quote above, perhaps his other reference to the word "trans" becomes more understandable, LOL

StJones, this is what I can tell you: "resistance is futile", plus landing on of those darn behemoths is going to be akin to a round circle shootout!

Bob, most often what Mat says, needs to be re-explained to Mat by someone who can decipher Mat better than Mat himself. I do recommend a map, a pencil, a compass, a ruler and a protractor for that "esplanation" attempt. Good luck!

Does anyone know how it would compare to the LC specs-wise?

I was just curious; my apologies if this has been discussed already.

Edit: Nevermind, I just saw the thread in the post directly above mine.

Mat, not sure anyone has noticed your attempt to spell "testers" above (you left out the r) was when you used the word "trans". Hmmm, LOL

I had said trusted testes which means that their testes had to be previously inspected and hence found to be trustworthy :D

Thank you Bob. That's a funny read!!

Resisting a "not-a-Survival-knife" IS futile but with speed and luck I will grab one from a Friday sale as I have with most of my other CPKs.
The Behemoth has [STRIKE]taken[/STRIKE] STOLEN my attention from the unnamed rough use knife.

Further explanation is required. The word "testicle" is derived from the latin "testis", the plural of which is "testes". And mispelling "trance", becoming "trans", well I hope no further explanation is required, LOL

Glad to see clear waters ahead

Here's a little trc knife that I really like, the xs splinter. I don't have the N690 steel totally figured out yet, but I think I'm going to like it. I like the design very well.

^^^ sorta cryptic pic there Dave! That knife is listed at 205 mm Metric which I think is about 8", making that paw print a bit too large for a domestic feline ;)

P.S. or could've gone with Tervi's much more concise opinion.

Big kitty.

Lol, sorry, not trying to be cryptic. I forget sometimes my life is a bit different and might require some explanation, and was focused on the knife (besides cpk whaddaya like) not the track. Big kitty indeed, here's a LINK if you're interested in the animal, specifically posts 4 and 12. It's a hunting thread, so don't enter if you don't want to see pictures of harvested animals, although the subject in question was not harvested but released.
