Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

I don't think you have to worry, I'm still tolerated here, and I have far more Bussekin than CPK (partly due to availability lol). If'n you wanted to transfer that $50 credit, I'd be happy to take it off yer hands. ;) Jerry likes Booowies (and sawbacks lol) so he gets some of my money (far too much, actually). 🥴

Now if only we could get @Nathan the Machinist to make a real run of some kind of nice clip point... 👿 :D

Landed yesterday:

Unfortunately, UPS mishandled the package and damaged the tip of mine slightly. Knife poked through the box and hit something hard (likely concrete) at some point during the journey. 🤬
use a blowtorch to re shape the tip what could go wrong

My tried and true Krein Bushcrafter in O-1, this guy has been a lot of places and cut just about everything.

Huntsman Fellbeast in Z-Tuff, can't wait to try out this steel, maybe this weekend. Also shown with a bushcraft piece from Trevor Kaplin (Mill Run Knives) over at Peter's Heat Treating, keeping it in the "CPK Family"..

carnifex knifeworks carnifex knifeworks - I know you like larger blades and bowies … if you want to try a Krein, I recommend a K9:

In PD#1 no less.
STAAAAHHPPP!!!!!

I think I'm in love. I'm a big fan of pd#1, cruwear, z-wear.

Also....
I love big blades and I cannot lie...

I'm specifically looking into D2 because I haven't really tried any quality examples of it. I've pretty much stopped carrying folders (with a couple exceptions) so that's what interested me in those smaller Krein blades.

Will be very interesting to follow your work on the complicated bevels, Richard.
The bevels are very complicated and challenging for me. I managed to complete the rough grind without any mishaps.
Like any dagger, you need to line up 4 plunges. However, on this one the bevel at the top is only sharp past the break in the spine. From the plunge to the break it's supposed to slowly taper.
(This is shown in the second picture)
The bottom bevel forms a sharp edge right from the plunge. All the bevels are deep hollows, but it's not a straight channel, there's quite a bit of finesse towards the tip. I've got all the edges that will be sharp to 20 thou, so once I taper the tangs it's off for heat treatment.

Wowza!

What are these 3 models?View attachment 2705716
That's his Pocket Bowie and Recurve. Unfortunately he is not making as many fixed blades as he once did and the Recurve's are hard to find. Tom is a super nice guy, you might try contacting him directly on IG.
I know it's a super small little knife but I love his caper. Fit's the pocket perfectly and is just a brilliantly useful bit of kit.

They all look nice. With the cpk edc preorder though, I think I'm probably all set.
