That was a chunk of Salem Straub Damascus (1080/15n20). It should come out at 62 HRC. I'm planning a Shun style D-handle in antique micarta, with black bolster and end cap.
4.75" blade.

Should turn out pretty awesome! Looking forward to seeing that end result set! Usually see in sets of 4 though. You making a butchers dozen? lol
