It's about time you made some kitchen knives since Nathan has shown no recent interest in reviving that pattern

Maybe I can get Lorein to help me design a set . I like the field knife handle on a 9 inch bacon slicer

But I still need a CPK potato knife.

The handles are really small on those 511's.

I've always wanted one of Ban Tang's regrinds. I don't have any of his, but I do have this swamp warden that was scaled and reground by Tom Krein. GSO 2.7 for size comparison.

Ive really been enjoying the work of Joshua Gallardo and Salem Straub. I'll dig up some pics of specific items in a bit. I just picked up my first Gallardo and I'm eagerly awaiting delivery. I hope to buy something from Salem sooner rather than later.

^^^Gallardo has some of the very best, cleanest freehand grinds I have ever seen. I had one of his and would simply study the lines and symmetry, looking for the slightest variation. I couldn't find ANY. I looked, hard, for hours at one knife. Same with the lines and shape and contours on his handles - simply beautiful.

I believe that is an 1111 (in fact, I think that particular one is in my truck now). No choil on those, and a heckuva camp knife.

The edge was completely reprofiled to a nasty convex. It took the edge back some and that's why you don't notice the weird choil in it. It's there just not as much as it was in the beginning.

SYKCO 1111 also pictured in my photo above. For reference it has an 11" blade. About 1.6" blade width IIRC
