Now that I have it in hand, a knife like this begs for patina. I think my next Haw Creek knife will be carbon.
 
Stuff I have seen from Timothy Johnson. So I decided to hop on his Nitro-V train. I am only a few weeks into an estimated eight month wait for a santoku, a sujihiki and a petty/paring in Nitro-V @ 65 RC (Peters HT). Will update when all is said and done :)
