Besides CPK knives, whaddaya like?

That looks like a very nice piece there Luke!
However, how you got it through customs i will never know :thumbsup:

And way cool. I've been looking those over, I'll keep an eye out for your thoughts on it.
Biggest thing is that the grip definitely supports a 'hand shake grip' more than a 'hammer grip'. Ice pick grip is also a bit awkward. I'm just not used to it.

The blade is extremely pointy. Well balanced and well constructed. Sheath is average.

7.5/10

I went back and took another look. I think I see what you mean in the distinction of hand-shake vs hammer  Is it awkward in the ice pick grip if you orient the handle so that your small finger is in the index finger groove?

A couple I have wanted for awhile: Josiah Gravelle's F6 in 3V and Big Chris's Voyager. Anyone got one of those? Thoughts?

Not so much but it's still awkward.

Don't get me wrong, the handle and blade definitely do their job. It's just the little things..!

I've got one of Chris' SAR models which I think is pretty close to the voyager. I haven't used it in awhile but the three knives I have from him have performed very nicely. The one slight complaint, and it's completely subjective, is that they all have polished G10 scales.

91Bravo, how do you like the production Camp knife? I've almost pulled the trigger on it a few times now.

^ had CPK not produced a 6-7 inch camp / field knife, that FBF Camp Knife would've been my go to knife. Now with the HDFKs which I preordered being almost at the stage of getting shipped out, my own need for a knife in that length range will be satisfied.

It's an excellent knife! The 3v gets stupid sharp, handle ergos are neutral and very comfortable to hold. Great big chunk of 3v in a tall saber ground blade, makes it an awesome camp knife! I guess that's why they called it that! lol

CPK and FBF made goodness. If it was a custom it would be CPK meets Andy Roy's beautiful handles.

If Nathan shipped those blanks in D3V and Andy was doing custom handles, OMG. I'd have way more FBF than I do now.

If only my aunt had a mustache, she'd also be my uncle. Alas, she's only got a full on beard Amish style o_O

Yeah but, what is actually stopping those blanks from being D3V?

If I had to take an educmacated guess: CPK, Keffeler and S! have the proprietary rights to that HT tweak. It's like holding a patent I suppose, but don't know if there's a term on those sorta things.
