My fav is: www.gpknives.com
Good selection, usually the lowest prices, and a good website.
Also, the cust. serv. is great... only had to deal with it once though.
Avoid spydieguys.com like the plague. Live and learn. I won an ebay bid on a Salt1 plain edge. They sent a Salt 1 Serrated edge. The Spyderco box was labeled plain edge. I tried to contact them numerous times via email. No response. I eventually learned to like the serrated edge and gave up.
Lessons learned.
Don't ever, ever order from someone who does not have a phone number.
Avoid knives on ebay offered by strictly digital stores.
knifeworks so far (havent recieved my order yet) seems good, the item ended up being out of stock and after trying to order it in they realized it was discontinued so they recieved the closest one to it (just cosmticaly differant). but i got a nice call asking if i would like the new one or a refund (chose the new one) and the lady reminded me a few times if i dont like it i can return it no problem. looks very promising to me
over all from my experances with online shopping most places that are reasonably sized and/or top hits on google are pretty reliable

Knifeworks.com. Roger is a very good guy to deal with. I have been buying from him for a while and have never been let down, and have been pleasantly surprised several times.
Last purchase was from Affordableknives.com. Good price. Delivered promptly without problems.
Last ebay purchase was from YOURKNIFECONNECTION. Good price, inadvertently sent Leek with textured scales rather than polished, but promptly, and without hassle, resolved the problem.

All of the Knifemakers I have dealt with in the Makers Forum were top
notch.

A couple dealers I have had issues with:
Savson Sword and Knife(Randy)-Read in the Emerson and GB&U
The second dealer I will leave nameless as it may have been a
accident, it may not have. I was overcharged $45 over retail price for
a folder I bought. It was a Korth Folder made for Julie Hyman and was
sold for $450 by her. The other dealer sold the knife to me at $495
and admitted he knew nothing about the knife upon inquiry. I would
imagine if that is the case he was guessing on the price to sell it at. I
decided to let it go and chalk it up as a lesson learned(do your home-
work on sellers and products).
YES MPE for both you and the dealer as well. One thing I really like about any products is researching them before I buy. I often seek out sites that have great service and quality products and a review section or seperate sites that offer reviews as well. It also motivates distributors to employ better service knowing that their products and sales are being reviewed by both satisfied and unsatisfied customers. I wish we could get more people involved in reviews.
