This past weekend, this was one of my choices. Tastes just like a cherry coke.

I've not yet had a chance to try anything in the Best Damn lineup, tasting like cherry coke it seems like a very slippery slope haha :D Is that a Diamond Radio Jack I spy? If so you are a lucky man! That's one that I hope to own one day:thumbup:

I don't drink a lot of sake, but this one was smooth. Just finished it off while enjoying my 74.

Don't know a lot about Sake except it tastes great with sushi! Really cool bottle on that variety. The #74 is looking good

Got my knee cut on last Wednesday so no mixing beer and pain meds for me. On a good note I stopped taking them yesterday and should be good to enjoy a brew tomorrow.

Not a Radio Jack, but I do have one. It is a Crown Lifter.

Great looking crown lifter. Is it sporting a spear main? I'd love to see some more pictures of that one and your Diamond radio whenever you get a chance

Glad to get the knee fixed and I'll be running again in 6 weeks so it ain't to bad. I had the 2015 beer camp pack and it was awesome. Looking forward to updates on those beers and cracking one myself this evening.

I really like Hoegaarden especially in the heat but I've never seen that Rosee  the addition of the raspberries has to be excellent. That is a really interesting knife, the opener looks sweet!Who makes it and what's on the other spring?

I like campers and smoky stuff. :)

Very nice collection on both accounts :thumbup: I mostly drink bourbon but I do enjoy a nice scotch on occasion.

Thanks! I don't collect whisky, I drink it. ;)
But seriously though, I was on the edge on getting bourbon in fact but I wanted to stay in the theme and got the Ardbeg yesterday. I think I need to go to my local bar this weekend and get few nice bourbons to refresh the memory.

 +1 about Hoegarden. Usually I drink lagers the English way, half way between chilled and room temp. The H is the onlyI can drink very cold (can't ice-cold) in hot summer alternating with Kriek Lambic / raspberry.

The knife is a Joseph Rodgers SFO called (edit typo ) cold water knife made for a surf company, supposed to be opened with gloves. This one is in micarta, comes with tin box and fin key (I do not surf :p), my Father's day gift. There has been an other CWK before, same blades with wood handles.

No need for an opener tonight, so I'm showing the blade.

Light beer tonight. Watching my figure :)

I love Yuengling and drank a ton of it when I lived in VA some years back. It's a damn shame they don't distribute to the west coast. That is a great looking #77. I have come to enjoy the Barlow pattern quite a bit and think I'd really like the size of the #77. I'm looking forward to this years release to put one in my pocket.

I really like lambics and Kriek in particular. Always been a big fan of sour cherries and other tart fruit and of course I like beer so it's a win win. You are definitely in a great spot geographically to get some of the best examples of the style directly from historical sources  I thought I'd seen that surf knife before, very cool! what's the closed length and steel? Pretty hard to beat micarta,a clip and sweet opener  I do some surfing occasionally but im not any good. The only skill I've perfected over the years is collecting bottom samples by mis judging both sets and my level of ability

Avery makes outstanding beer. If you'd told me ten years ago I would be able to get IPAs and other craft beer in cans I'd have laughed but there's definitely an impressive variety making its way out there. Perfect for no glass beaches/venues, hikes and all sorts of other outdoor ventures. Again, very nice scout.

Length is 3,5", quite heavy boy.Better in back pocket than front. Black coating on the blades is a nice touch. I'm happy with it! :D

My wife's stepdad is in town. Great guy who grew up in Mexico City. As you'd imagine he knows far more about tequila and mezcal then I ever thought possible. I don't drink a lot of tequila but this was as close as I could get beer wise. I've had this one in the cellar for a bit over a year and was happy to open and share it with him.

Spent yesterday running around all over town and felt bad that I drug him with me from morning until late in the pm. I had the portage in my pocket and multiple times throughout the day he commented on how nice the knife looked. In the afternoon I dropped it off for a solid professional sharpening. I picked it up from the drop box around 9pm and we both inspected the blade and commented on how well it popped hair. After we got done checking it out I placed it back in its box and handed it to him. I've gotten a lot of great use out of it and it will be missed but I was really happy to give him a knife that I both enjoy an used knowing he would do the same.

Awesome looking beer, and knife. An even greater gesture on your part, to give it to him. I'm sure he was ecstatic! [emoji106]
