Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

My english ! I meant Pinot noir is better when drunk at the right température.
About 50°F. But you can drink it on ice if that's what you prefer.

Strongly suggested at least!
Usually red wine is better drunk at room's temperature. Cave temp around 50°F.
Too hot will make it mature too fast and possibly turn to vinegar.
Too cold will break the tannin's job and kill most aromas.
White wine may be chilled because there's no tannin.

If you want a refreshing red wine you better choose one with low alccohol volume. Our ancestors used to drink very light wines (8-10°, in heavy quantity, 3 - 4l per day was normal), what the English called "Claret", which they kept in fresh water.
Should have they drunk heavy wines, Notre Dame would look like the Sagrada Familia!

In reality, there are only a few red wines we truly enjoy.... mostly Chianti's, and this one... I think it's a blend...

It seems from the picture you drink it too cold. A Pinot noir wine has to be drunk temperate.

I know it looks that way. I usually put my reds in the fridge for about 30 minutes, so maybe slightly cooler than recommended, in this case, the wine went from cool and AC inside to outside after a summer rain, even my glasses fogged up. So, not as cold as it looks.

Now i understand ! It's true that in summer the room temperature is sometimes too hot for a red wine. The solution is to cool the bottle in a bucket of water.

Thanks, walked with my wife over to the local American Legion bar, seemed like a night for a PBR.View attachment 1633323
I googled your post, certain that it must be from a country song I didn't know. Didn't find a song containing those lyrics, though. o_O:rolleyes:
You should write one! :thumbsup:🤓:cool::thumbsup:

I should get some PBR for old times' sake. That used to be my go-to beer back in the mid 70s, but I'll bet I haven't had one in 40 years.
