Beverages and Blades - Traditional of Course

It’s an IPA, so it’s good but if you had one you had most of them. I liked the name so it was worth a pick up
Yeah, I know some people can taste the difference, my palate isn’t that refined. As long as it’s not too bitter or too sweet I’ll drink it. 🤣

It’s from a town called Trinity not too far from me and Tampa. It’s an IPA, so it’s good but if you had one you had most of them. I liked the name so it was worth a pick up
You and I seem to be on the same track.... I was in the store, looking for Fritos... (there seems to be some conspiracy to make them all disappear..) and just happened to be walking past the beer aisle, and saw this one... anyone that has become acquainted with fire ants will understand... the name grabbed me, and I grabbed a six of them....
It's not a bad ale... a little bitter, sort of grapefruity.... along with my new Ohta FK5....

How could anyone walk by that and not give it a try. I had a bad run in with those things back in middle school when I lived in South Carolina, they suck

Right is Hungarian apricot, left Lorraine' mirabelle plum eaux-de-vies/pálinka, distilled two or three times, quite different of the Serbian rakija (slivoviça for plum) or Rumanian tuica which are brandies, single distillation and often with some fruit added. Personally I am not too fond of the laters especially when I have cognac at hand.
Both edv have a very strong smell of the original fruit.
Years ago, while on holiday with a cousin in Kispest, all the building's inhabitants had given fruits to a neighbour who every year used to distillate fine moonshine 60°+ apricot pálinka. He made them fruits boiling in an old Seb pressure cooker and the alcohol would then go and cool to the upper floor where it was distilled again, then cooled again through the stairwell down to the final bottling. It was hot and the whole street would smell it. There was water and blankets everywhere in case of fire!
When the coppers (who like everywhere in the world have a radar for these things) arrived, they were given a few bottles to keep their mouth shut.
Give my best to the Countess! 😉

I remember the first time I tried that beer. It was at the Kessler theater in Dallas waiting for James McMurtry to take the stage.

So we’re the Fritos from the Irving plant? The bigger question is were there beans in that? Any Texan should always know the correct answer to the bean no bean question. 🤣
