Have to test out the 71 again. Yep it cuts limes and it busts caps!
Yes. Yes yes yes yes yes

Nice how’s the texture on the jigged delrin?
I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn’t feel like bone or natural wood, but it doesn’t feel plasticy either. I have some older “cheap“ knives with plastic covers. The delrin on this GEC isn’t in the same universe as those. Best 1 word descriptor I can come up with after foundling it a couple hours is “solid”. It does not feel cheap to me…and I have a decent point of reference. Maybe a cousin to Micarta?

Had a frozen margarita with lunch yesterday. Not the sort of thing I usually go for, but hey, it was pretty good. 😁

After that we went to a couple local breweries. The first was New Province Brewing in Bentonville, AR. I’ve only been once before, when they first opened a few years ago. I got a flight so I could try a few different things. Left to right was a dry-hopped session ale, a Belgian Wit, an IPA and a pink lemonade sour ale. That last one is just as weird as it sounds! 🤨😁 The rest were ok, but nothing spectacular.

I also tried a small sample of a bourbon barrel aged stout they had. Again, not bad, but nothing to write home about.

Next we went to Rendezvous Junction Brewing Co. in Rogers, AR. These guys brew some pretty solid beers. I had their Doppelbock.

And a hazy APA made with Citra hops that was probably my favorite beer of the day.
