That is a great IPA. If you ever see any beers from Feckin Brewery (local brewery in Oregon City) they are great.

I'm always open to try a new brew [emoji106]Thanks I'll check it out .

The Irish "equivalent" of Drambuie is "Irish Mist". However, they both have unique tastes.
Both are whisky modified with honey. But each has other flavors also, and they taste different. Much more different than the difference in the whiskies used in making them.

Very interesting. Thanks for the additional info:thumbup:

It's been too long since I've checked in on this thread. Wonderful stuff, everyone! I hope your 2017 is off to a good start.

I went to the store looking for Saisan Dupont and discovered their holiday saison. It's lovely.

Your very welcome. I am glad that you enjoyed it

Have not had a lot of time lately to enjoy many beers but I did manage to squeeze in another noteable IPA from a small up and coming brewery courtesy of a friend. This one was brewed exclusively with large amounts Amarillo hops and was outstanding-

Don't know much about your American Bourbon, except that I like it :D and it costs a lot here in Finland.. Can't post a pic as out of town on work, but got hold of some Bulleit Bourbon, very nice drink indeed. But what knife goes with it......? Something smooth.:thumbup:

QUOTE=Travman;16818254]That is a very unique looking caplifter. I'd love to know more information about this interesting knife.[/QUOTE]
This is the second Joseph Rodgers SFO for Finisterre, a company selling surf gears. First SFO had wodd slabs.
There's now a mk3 with cyan and flam acrylic slabs

Thanks for sharing. I like the wood slab slabbed version.

Talked to my buddy and he made a trade for a few cans of the 24k Juice.... lucky him, he promised to let me know how it was haha! Kings actually sells beer in "Crowlers" which is a newer interesting approach. Hard to see in that picture but that can is actually 32oz

Good to see you here JP! I really like that surf knife and feel like it's been a while since I last saw it. Very cool that they have done a few new variations, they look great. I have a really old question that has been a point of debate between myself and the wife. You suggested eating dragonfruit with rum. My stance was that you were referring to dark rum while she insists you were referring to light rum haha. So which do you prefer with dragonfruit?

Enjoy your nap JP :)

Thanks Jack  I enjoyed the beer almost as much as I enjoy the Lambsfoot's company. I hope the whisky does away with the cold you've caught.

Sorry Sir, but the Missus is right! :D
Dark rum (molasses) is not very usual in France and most rums are agricole, except on the the Réunion Island where the rhum arrangé was born.
Drop fruits in a large glass jar and let macerate in native 49° Charrette white (not agricole). The longer the better - it is important the fruits are very ripe to get the best flavour-. Add some lemongrass, clove tree/orange tree and cinnamon leaves. Some dry bananas (you will have to filtrate then) and a vanilla pod as well and for just a day or two (more gets too strong a flavour) some cinnamon and sweeten to your convenience with raw cane sugar or syrup. (the bottle is fairly loaded because I keep the old leaves and pour new rum and fruits when it reaches a disturbing level) :D
This is very different of spiced rum or flavored vodka. Some do use Agricole rhum, but it is too specific in taste imho, the simpler and stronger the rum, the better it will be. (Jamaican rum is too sweet, Haitian Clairin would fit the bill, as I don't think you find much 49° Charrette abroad.
I don't know a single house or restaurant on the Island who would not hold out a glass before you leave.
