This Chocolate Raspberry Porter was included in a Shiner variety 12-pack I bought a while back. I'm not much of a fan of fruit-flavored beers, but this one isn't horrible, even though the raspberry taste overpowers any chocolatey flavor. I had one with supper tonight, and only one of the 4 cans of this type remains in my fridge.

Sounds interesting Gary. That’s the good thing about a variety pack, no major commitments and if they are bad you can give them to friends or put them in barbecue sauce.

Barbecue sauce! That's a great idea that I never even considered, Todd! Our daughter made a "lightning visit" home on Monday, and I was hoping she'd have a chance to try one, but she took a nap instead and then it was time to get her to the airport to fly back to St. Paul, MN.
