Notice that he accuses me of sending "racist and harassing emails" minutes after I posted a rebuttal to his feedback. That is an utter lie, and literally a libel. He cannot prove it, because no such emails exist. He purposely lied in a venal way, just as he has repeatedly here and in the other thread. He doesn't post copies of his repeated emails threatening to do things to the women in my life, though. Nor has he explained why, having received a full refund plus shipping costs weeks earlier, he chose to post those lies.

I invite anyone who has read this thread to challenge my initial premise: beware if you deal with this guy, because his reactions are not rational.

And what’s this about, “buyer never complained...” whatever, dude. And now that I think about it, I vaguely remember offering to bone your mom. What.

The way you put it so purposely vague, conjures the worst possible ideas, man. I don’t know why I offered my services to your mom, it was two years ago - but probably because I felt wronged, and was spitting venom. I’m sorry, but stop making it seem like something worse than it was.

So you finally admit you told me you'd F*** my mother, my sister, etc., and falsly accused me of being a "racist", all over a knife deal you lost no money on. But you don't think that behavior is worthy of a warning to my friends at BF. I did and still do.

I honestly don’t remember what the heck I said, man. I never said I didn’t spout off to you, I admitted that a long time ago. I don’t remember anything about a sister, how would I even know you had a sister? Did we get that personal? I don’t think so. I don’t remember us getting close like that.

You dance around the people who’ve asked you to state your claim as to the “Custom Handmade” thing all while calling me a liar? I am not, and have not lied. No I am not admitting anything man, but that sounds like something I’d say, “You’re mom’s a fat turd” or something, because I was young and immature like that. but I can’t remember the details as well as you claim to. It wasn’t even a big deal to me. I got my money back and that was that. But you planted your revenge seeds here, and watch it flourish into this inbred, mutation we have before us.

The whole deal is that you tried to take advantage of me, and to this day, deny any of it. I WISH I had those messages, man, because I honestly don’t remember. I try so hard to remember, and I think I can recall you standing strong about me getting what I paid for, and that it was a custom, handmade strider, why else would I call you a liar? I wish I could remember all the details as well as you claim to. Jeez. It’s like you’re calling me a liar now, just because I called you one, based on nothing.

I’m the only one here providing these fine people with evidence and exhibits, while you just keep saying the same things over and over, and ignoring these peoples’ requests for you to comment on the accusations of misleading a noob that have been brought against you. I’m not trying to change the subject - but you’re clearly avoiding it.

A remark like that in the real world made face to face would in every instance trigger an immediate response.

When made thru the internet the only response that can be made is that you are an AHOLE............................

Gritter certainly seems like an a-hole to me. But that is not what is at issue here. He was called a cheat, a liar, and a scumbag. Two of which are very far from being substantiated and the last which is rather subjective.

So, our agreement that Gritter certainly seems to be an a-hole aside :), would you ever publicly assert, without a shred of evidence, that someone is a cheat and a liar simply because he insulted you and pissed you off?

Gotta say, I highly doubt you would, Wolfman.

Well, you obviously don't want to answer my direct question. It's pretty obvious what you did, I just wanted you to admit it. You can have all the Super Mods in the world say you're a good guy, but you seem pretty shady to me.

Did you insult me? Are you insulting me? Was that an insult? Did you just call me an A-Hole? Well, that’s it, I’m going to go ahead and tell the world that you’re a cheat, liar and a scumbag! (scumbag being subjective) Take that! (I am totally joking, to emphasize your point)

He’s right. I totally forgot what this was about, but I agree with roughedges. It’s about labeling me as a cheat and a liar in a google’able public forum. Just because someone offends you, or acts like an A-Hole, doesn’t make them a cheat or a liar. The facts that we both seem to agree on are:

1. He got his knife back (in perfect condition, and packed with care)

2. He refunded my money + shipping (thanks, man!)

3. I am an A-Hole

4. This was settled and resolved two years ago through eBay, not affiliated with bladeforums.com in any way

There is one aspect still to be determined that questions mister jbravo’s integrity, which is the evidence that suggests he tried to convince me to believe it was worth a lot more that it was - even down to the (what I thought was the) very last correspondence of eBay’s feedback system:

“KNIFE WAS EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED, BUYER NEVER COMPLAINED, BUYER IS FLAKEY - AVOID!"

For someone who thinks one post from 2009 has cost you jobs and housing, you sure don't seem to care what your next few years are going to look like.
 
This is absolutely rediculous.

You two need to get this pissing match settled, so we can all move on to more important things. I'm not happy that this thread was drug back to the top after two years.

I'm personally not bothered by people wishing to have their way with my mother, especially via the internet. I'm at a loss as to how that's relevant though.

This never should have been posted on BladeForums to begin with. We're not eBay. We're not affiliated or associated with eBay. We don't allow auction spotting for eBay. I'm closing this thread, and will probably be deleting the personal information out of the OP
