James you scumbag. You sent back that knife twice unfinished and you failed to mention that in your original post? Bullsh!t! You are a lowlife POS and you deserve to have your name dragged through the mud. What a freakin' dirtbag! I am going to go out of my way to make sure that anyone that I can possibly tell about what kind of lowlife you are gets an earful. If I see you posting on any forum anywhere, I am going to link your post to this thread. What goes around, comes around.

Also, Ed T mentioned doing pics of your trashed knife unless somebody is closer....Im in Oklahoma if you need them done, dont know where your located.
 
don't worry about the trashed blade i tryed to remove the messed up area and it looks perfect but me not realizing the handle has to mate up tight with this area for the latch to be tight it's now even more
screwed up.looks good but latch can't lock up.so is there anyone out
there thats been wanting a latchless 42-lol
 
tell you what,is there anyone thats been wanting to get into bali's but just never had the bucks or whatever to get a nice one.like i posted before blade now looks good were i had to remove the hacked up
filing only problem is the latch doesn't work.i will give this knife to a worthy new owner.:eek: :) :eek:

don't know if I qualify as "worthy" but I'd sure like a shot at being considered. I'd be downright honored, in fact, to be on the recieving end of such a nice gesture. :) :) :)

Don't own any Bali's but I'm very interested in them. If someone else wants it though, that's fine too.
 
We all know Yiterp just took a hit from his job loss and had to sell off his knives. Good thing he found another job quick.

Yiterp and I have traded before. We know he will be around awhile. Let's try to get him a new 42. I will put up $10 bucks to get him a new 42. If a few folks will help we can get a new 42 to him pretty quick.

Now we need someone with a 42 for sale. We can send him the cash and have him send the knife to Yiterp. So if yall want to and someone has one to sell and is ok with this lets do it.

Just me thinking out loud.
 
I responded to your offer before reading this entire thread and didn't realize what a beating you took on this particular knife. I'm still interested in it though but would like to pay you something for it. Consider it a donation to the "help get yiterp a new 42" fund being started. Let me know how I can help salvage a little good karma for this poor PhukedUp 42.
 
yiterp, you are definitely one of the good guys around here. I have never dealt with you before, and I have never seen anything negative about your trades, and I know for a fact you have done numerous deals on this board. You have definitely been done wrong by darkman, and I would like to help with LYFSFUN proposal.

LYFSFUN, count me in for 10 big ones. Could I also suggest buying a new one from Mike at New Graham Knives since he is a registered, paying knife dealer here at bladeforums. Mike also has some of the best prices on Benchmade products. I am sure that he would put a hold on a 42 of yiterp's choosing. Heck, Mike may even become a part of it. Anyway if you could send Mike an email, and just let him know what is going on and reference this thread. You can handle it anyway you choose. all of you did so much for me during my time of need.sure i'm a little tight still but i'm doing ok.i have a wonderfull wife,great kids and grandchildren and now a job and have came to realize that i also have the best friends a guy could ask for-ALL OF YOU.the 42 was cool and i was going to trick it out a bit but believe me it wasn't something really special to me.your offer to replace it just shows me once again how deep a friendship you can develope in bladeforums.but i want you to know it makes me feel good to give it to Ruzster.makes me feel good to know someone will have it that really will feel it is something special.

Well aint life great. I found this up for auction. Got it for $60 and the auction was for a good cause. This is super all the way around.

I am going to go ahead and get it paid and shipped to Yiterp.

As most of you read this, James Lott, aka Jlott, aka darkman, will have been banned from Bladeforums.

If anyone spots Mr. Lott anywhere on BFC from now on, please make sure you notify one of the moderators, so we can ban him again.

What Mr. Lott did to yiterp, and other forum members, is inexcuseable, and won't be tolerated in the least.

Thanks to all who have provided me with the information we needed to get this taken care of.

If any member experiences similar problems, please don't hesitate to post here, or at the very least e mail one of us, so we can help you get it taken care of.

I got Ed's email about this Sat AM, after the dust had cleared and it appears it is settled...if anything falls thru, let me know..I will going where my wife and kids tell me to go next week, but as Arnie said...I'll be back. BTW, as I have said before, great bunch of guys here. md
