BF2020 Blade Etch

I would like “ck edition 2020 bladeforums” or “ck edition bladeforums 2020”. Have viper on the tang. It would imply, this knife is brought to us by ck.

Otherwise just have “BF 2020” on the tang which would be subtle as a model number.

I humbly disagree and believe it should be BladeForums. One word. The official BladeForums logo is one word. The shirt I purchased from the merch store has it spelled with one word. The official patches in the merch store have it spelled as one word.

just my 2 cents, if you look at the BF logo BladeForums is proceeded with .com, why doesn't someone ask Spark.
 
I initially considered the mockup a worst case scenario, as far as the etching... now I'm seeing that people want to retain the Viper and CK and do the bladeforums etch in addition?.
I appreciate all of Mike's effort to make this happen at basically the last minute; but, respectfully, the forum knife shouldn't be billboard advertising for his business. (I know I may be in the minority with that sentiment, and I don't plan on debating the subject.)
 
I like the idea of a tang etch. I can't really tell, is the M390 an etch or a stamp? If they could match that appearance, with the arched BladeForums 2020, I think that would be perfect. Aren't most other BF knives marked on the tang?

I hadnt seen the other bladeforums knives and didnt know they had left off the maker name. If that is the case then we should try to stay true to form. Im perfectly happy with bladeforums 2020 on one side of the tang with m390 on the other.
 
The tang stamp in post 49, on the right, looks really good to me - see how the curve of the words follows the slight curve of the bolster? Perfect.

we could also do Braille markings instead, so when you get blind drunk you can still find the correct knife.
 
I don't want CK on this monstrosity :D

Ya'll can discuss it and tag me when you have a proposal for the factory. They don't stamp anything; all laser etch. And I would warn about the pivot area of the blade as you do not want to add resistance to anything contacting the PB washers.

I would recommend BladeForums as one word - I think that is as it should be; like CollectorKnives.
 
BladeForums2020... Small print on the Pile Side of the blade.
Just like Mike did with his CK logo on the Mark Side of the blade.
I also wouldn't mind if Mike still left his logo on the Mark Side (if rules allow).
You get the idea.
