Bikers post here.

If I end up keeping it I may put some short pipes on it.....love loud as hell bikes :)

Oh me too! I've got cycle shack MTO-129s on mine and it rattles the windows pretty good. I have to shut it off down the street and coast to the garage so I don't wake up my neighbors man!

I have a 2013 Honda Shadow Phantom. AntDog, I work in downtown Houston and commute to Kingwood. We are practically neighbors.

Sweet! We should get together for a ride sometime! I live right off of Will Clayton in Atascocita.

Excellent bikes guys! I'll get mine up shortly.
Sky horse, your pics were making me dizzy, I fixed it for ya.

Currently bikeless bit my past list of rides include gs500, zr7,zx7,f4, r6,yzf600, vtr 1000, gsxr 750, ducati 750ss (pos bike)

I just upgraded to a 2014 Harley XL883N Iron at the start of the season, before that I was on a used 2000 VStar 650. I ride to work as often as I can (pretty much as long as it isn't raining when I leave this time of year), and try to get out for some rides just for the heck of it, but finding time has been a bit difficult.

I am planning to take a week in September and join a ralley around New England which should put a decent number of fun miles on the bike.

I have had motorcycles since I was young, my first being a mid 70s Benelli 65cc Dynamo. My first street bike was a 71 Honda CB360 twin, followed by many Kawasaki two stroke triples, then a 1980 KZ1000.

Then I got into Harleys, 86 FXST, 92 FXSTS (my first new Harley), 1999 FXST, 61 Duo-Glide....Then I sold the Harleys, got into Corvettes and picked up a 97 Kawasaki Concours ZG1000 (Lovingly known as Fat Bastard). I have had Fat Bastard for 12 years, and that bike and I have been to Maine, Key West, Deadhorse AK, and all but 2 of the continental United States.

A typical trip is a week or more and 4-5k miles. FB and I can do 1000 miles in a day fairly easily when I am alone, less easily when I have company.

I have 10 motorcycles at the moment, including a 1965 Aermacchi Harley Davidson M50s, a 1971 Bridgestone TMX-100, an 82 Honda CB650-4,my old 1983 YZ490 that I used to use to run dirt drags and was my "trail bike" for several years, a couple of KTM 300s, a CRF50F for the kids and some project bikes for when I get the time and inclination (one is a 72 Yamaha RD350...)

Following is a list of the bikes I have owned or own, along with some pictures of them over the years - including the old pan, which I stripped down myself and refurbished to make it reliable and beautiful.

Thanks AntDog -

I sold my pan to a mailman in Deer Park down by you - so that bike is likely still running around your area.

I forgot to mention I am the lead motorcycle judge for the Illinois Secretary of State Antique Vehicle Show - IF anyone from Illinois is reading, please consider bringing your motorcycle to the show -

AntDog, You might like some of the pictures of my trips, I am known to carry my camera around my neck and take pictures while on the roll - including many taken on the haul road on the way from Fairbanks to Deadhorse -

My Harley is a 1996 model that was bought new by the previous owner. The very first thing he did after he purchased it from Barnett Harley was start taking it apart.:) Lol,he stripped it of much of the factory set-up and customized the bike.It spent most of the following 18 years on a trailer he built himself along with an antique Harley used basically as display pieces for the most amazing street hot rods that he builds and shows as a hobby. It had only 1500 miles when I bought it.

Unfortunately this is my bike now. My wife used to love to ride, but after losing a close friend in a motorcycle accident, she now refuses to and worries too much for me to enjoy it like I should. The Houston area is a little too hectic for safe riding unless you are in a pack and even then can get rough with some of the aggressive drivers out there. Hopefully one day when we move back out into the country and have some open roads, she will change her mind and I will get another Fat Boy or maybe even a Valkyrie. My friend's Valkyrie rides nice and has very low maintenance.
Jealous of all the pics. You guys have some nice rides.

Here is my first bike. This is a photo of someone else's but mine was identical. This is a 1974 Suzuki 550GT Triple.

I have had larger bikes but most of the guys are now going to smaller displacement with ABS because the traffic is too heavy for a larger bike to maneuver. Here is my current bike that replaced my bigger one: a 2014 Honda CB500F ABS.

This bike is a dream. It is sure footed and agile, yet large enough to keep up on the major highways. Did you all know that out of 10 accidents that would result in fatalities, 4 would survive on a motorcycle with ABS? In Europe for 2016 all motorcycles will be required to have ABS.

Ill play... Currently ride an 89 gsxr750 ( a real slingshot). also have a 90 kat600 I've been thinking of getting rid of but its my first street bike and I managed to run 12.27 @107 in the 1/4, 04 crf100, 75 cr125m, and 73 KE100..... riden or owned lots of bikes as my dad was big in vintage racing growing up. started on a pw50, moved to a hodaka wombat 125, had an ace 100, super combat and combat wombat... lol ridden a few bsa's c15 b50 b44 b25, a triumph or two some bulls and my fair share of montessas... have yet to get to try a Norton or vintage duke... some day sorry for the ramble but Just love bikes in general. also got to try an ajs stormer 250 and man that thing makes bsa's feel like a slug.. for anyone into AHRMA or vrra/cvmg you may have met me but I'm only as old as my current street bike. My dad mostly rode bsa's since the early 90's in AHRMA though a kx500 a maico or two and a pursing were throne in there. 24H 26B
