Blade Forums Spring Street Barlow (BF Knife 2021)

OK GUYS! Complain about this: I just talked my very nice USPS carrier into taking ALL OF THE REST OF THE KNIVES to the USPS local where he will scan them in TODAY! All 166 of them. Sorry if some ineligible buyers were able to sneak in, but in truth I can't screen every single buyer and I don't know you all nor am I familiar with your screen name. I maintain that it was not part of my job to vet anybody, as my understanding is that it would be done by the mods. Anyway, some confusion I admit, so sorry about that. I have yet to see any come up on the secondary market even though I already sent out some 260 knives, so that is a good sign at least.

So whatever, I am worn out from this exercise over the last three weeks so I am officially DONE. Thanks to you all that have been civil, and to the others, not so much.
Thanks for all your hard work.

I am hoping there's just a delay in USPS tracking because mine still says "USPS Awaiting Item."

All the bickering in the polls was quite fun. Really just the whole gec thing is the problem.

Hey its a brown tone to me

Check again. Sometimes it takes awhile for those initial scans to get through for some reason. Mine did just like yours, and now shows accepted and at the regional in Seattle. Shows accepted at 515, which is 715 my time, but didn’t update that until well after midnight. Usps uodates aren’t always as soon as scanned. Sometimes they are, sometimes they slow.

Yes! I see it now as being in Seattle. 🙏

Bummed I missed out on these. Those that were able to get one should be very happy as they are great looking knives!

Fellow porchers, I Charlie C, accept responsibility for a somewhat loose approach to offering, obtaining a BF knife this year!! We tried several means to limit buyers, like allowing only one knife each, which a very few people managed to skirt somehow!!
We put a huge price, $999 on them, with a "magic" word to give you a $900 discount!! All in the efforts to make the Forum knife supply tasks less onerous!!
Smaller quantities make screening easier, as you might see when the Canadian portion of the order gets to me for distribution!! (Wait until I post them!! Don't Message, Email, call or write to me, until I post them!! - It's not fair to nag!! - keep watch!!)
I see more people not willing to make the effort to get these knives out to you!! Maybe it's because we tried to make this a non-profit event, and it's just gotten too big! There are some interesting volunteers, though - more later!!
And of course the knife is from a trusted and desirable maker!!
I guess we'll have to rethink this long and hard for next year!!
Again, I apologize for trying to short-cut the process somewhat!!
I thank all who participated, and will continue to participate soon in the Great White North!!

A word!! Please don't pay more for an aftermarket example!! Extra shipping might be in order!! (postage is triple in Canada!!) But here is our chance to get even with any flippers!! Fair game in my Book!!
