Who?...wow two pages and I'm the first??? Either no fans or over their heads with a whoosh

No, I caught it right away, but was waiting the read the rest of the whole thing on how this was a "Fail". A sitdown over fishsticks in custard would probably set things right :)

My condolences for your loss.I feel really bad for you and wish you goodwill and strength though your adversity.I suggest you make a few phone calls early next week and you should find a solution to the sticker issue.BHQ are good folks and I think either them or DPX will make it right for you.I know it's a PITA as a lot of things in life are.Best of luck and let us know what happens...
Best regards,
salmonkiller

Geez! You're just a tool man...

Sure, op is sensitive about a box. It's kinda funny, but not worth clenching my anus...

To me a box or a graphic is just that. They go inside of a bigger box in my closet and are forgotten about. But you are the customer here, it is your knife (and box), and your money being spent. I imagine both Blade HQ and DPx will be glad to help you out to ensure you are satisfied with the transaction 100%.

I cannot say I agree with you on the "fail" aspect solely because the cosmetic condition of the package/storage container has a residue from a sticker mainly because I think you find retailers commonly put stickers on the product. If you are very unhappy about the graphic or intended to frame it or hang it on the wall or something (some collectors do as makers often have cool logos), I think your best corse of action is to contact the seller or the maker directly and request a replacement. I imagine they will be more than glad to send one or a few your way.

Look wut New Graham did to me dude, so don't feel crapped on!!! My brand new Sebenza box! The nerve of those guys! Slapping a sticker on it, who do they think they are? and what's up with the yellow stuff? What did they do!?:o

I totally get it. Part of what he paid for is the presentation. And he is correct about resale and I think we all know that.

I'm very sorry to hear you lost you're father. When my father died the only box that concerned me was the one I'd purchase to lay him to rest in. That sticker glue will come off btw.

Been in a real low place for awhile, Seen this , bought it, And then the Coolness and excitement turned to sadness and just a plain feeling of disappointment. Who puts a sticker over the graffix band and then just rips it off. So let down i just put it back in the envelope. I feel like i could throw up.

Yes it is very tough deal to use the box with the sticker on top of the graphix..but oh I remember now usually what is in the box is put to use and the box is just a box.
You are definitely in a low place guy, time to raise up and enjoy things.

Sorry about the box, sometimes they can look a little rough around the edges and I know it disgusts me to have to look at a safe full of crappy boxes!

The bad part is I have $20-$30 knifes that come in prettier boxes than that. Looks like Blade HQ lost a customer because if they can't qc their boxes then I won't be buying from them.

You're going to throw up? Over a sticker on a box? What happens when something serious happens, like you get a hangnail? I hope that if you ever get a parking ticket your friends and family will be able to get a protective order to take all your sharp toys away before you hurt yourself for real. :(

Give the guy a break. I think he get's the point. Next time he might think twice before posting about something which to most people is insignificant. Might bother some, might not bother others. Different strokes.

I don't know about everyone else here, but some folks who collect nice knives also place great value on the box and packaging...for collecting as well as for resale.
Go to a gunshow sometime and check out the tables that JUST sell original handgun boxes. Any handgun collector places at least a value of $100 on the box itself. we have knife collectors here also.
I don't collect anything any more, but I ship out folders well-padded and use USPS Priority small flat-rate boxes, and often will ask a seller to send mine (please) the same way. I don't like to receive a smashed box in a bubble-wrap envelope, and figure many here feel the same way.

OP, are you seriously not going to even mention the beautiful Triple Black you have sitting in your "Sickening" box? No offense, but for the love of god, please grow male parts and talk about your knife instead of crying like a spoiled child about the box it came in, some of us are actually interested in blades, and not petty things like sticker residue.
