My only concern for this knife...I call it the Porchenberg Titanic..bigger,more luxurious,better appointed than any before....and yet it kind of sank...Y'Know I've often thought ...if only they'd painted it a different colour....

I'd say it's more like an investment into the spirit of the forums. You will note they are still available for direct purchase.

Granted, I could be biased because I've been asking for a stockman BF knife for years and was delighted once this one was announced. I've been in hog heaven since mine arrived.

Plus, Given its reception, I doubt we'll see another stockman forum knife for a long time. That is assuming there is any kind of BF knife in the future.

I'm living with it for a while to see how I take to it. I'm usually not one to modify knives, though. Yes it is a great knife!

The traditional knives are not for everyone. Personally not a fan, they probably would be gone by now if it was a flipper or even a fixed blade.

Not true. Spark has had problems in the past selling non-traditional knives as forum knives, also.

In short ..and imo...traditional isn't always appealing to the modern eye...with which I am equipped
