BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

Also, it is an investment :)
I'd say it's more like an investment into the spirit of the forums. You will note they are still available for direct purchase.

Granted, I could be biased because I've been asking for a stockman BF knife for years and was delighted once this one was announced. I've been in hog heaven since mine arrived.

Plus, Given its reception, I doubt we'll see another stockman forum knife for a long time. That is assuming there is any kind of BF knife in the future.

Just bought a second one!

Here's my dye job

Aaaah Yes a rare ciggy butt colured one.
Do you honestly like that colour?
Apologies if that sounds rude.
Have you seen how some have been prettied up quite effectively with leather dye?...Still a great knife. Cheers.
   Hog Heaven. Love it. 🤣🤣🤣
I've got a third one on the way...That puts me in mutant feral razorback boar with triple set of tusks heaven👍

I'm living with it for a while to see how I take to it. I'm usually not one to modify knives, though. Yes it is a great knife!

The traditional knives are not for everyone. Personally not a fan, they probably would be gone by now if it was a flipper or even a fixed blade.
Not true. Spark has had problems in the past selling non-traditional knives as forum knives, also.
But I agee with waynorth waynorth
Let me help you keep to where you will be happier.

Yes good call.
In short ..and imo...traditional isn't always appealing to the modern eye...with which I am equipped😃
Capturing the aestheticss of a bygone era is no easy task.

So lately something has been bugging me to come back and check things out and what do I find? Just an opportunity to obtain one fantastic and great knife is all. That and a couple of messages from folks who just don't get it and probably never will. Anyway, ORDER PLACED for sure!! Great job Spark and everyone involved. Well done! Glad to see all is alive and well.
To those who think a flipper on bearings is the hallmark of a great knife, I feel sorry for you but I just can't quite reach (long live the 7th grade, lol). There is much more to life than customizing your Xbox controller. There is more to determining value and worth than measuring how quickly something is "gone". There is significant merit in keeping the values that were prevalent in the past alive. "Capturing the aesthetics of a bygone era is no easy task" - meako. This knife, and traditionals in general typify that philosophy. That's why they are called "traditionals".
