BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

240 knives sold at this time.

Kevin Spark Spark - At only 240 knives sold, It appears that the fever pitched initial ordering phase has slowed to a crawl. How many knives have to be sold until you stop the sale and place the order to GEC?

Edited to a say that I'm not in a hurry - just curious how the price point will effect the number of purchasers this tear. It seems like some previous BF knife purchasers have reached their limit. Too bad for them as this is going to be a great knife at a great deal. Maybe allowing more than one knife per person would increase sales numbers.

Im curious too, although I feel like we will get more buyers on tuesday tomorrow when banks open. It’s labor day, and also the first of the month. So perhaps some are waiting for banks to update so they can see what spending money they have after bills process.

Ed, I asked earlier and someone said one was the limit, but I don't see that anywhere. Do you?

I would have ordered two to try and get a lower serial number (240 isn't to mine yet, hope we make it) but that was right when the orders started and now I'm sure low double digits are gone, and unless I was sure to get exactly the number I want I wouldn't buy another.
Oh well.

It's a shame that these were not listed for sale on Spark's website by serial number so you would know what was available when you ordered and would get it for sure.

No, I don't Stu FLymon FLymon . I think someone only referenced "one per customer" based on last years requirements.

As for serial numbers, I'd just as soon that they not be serialized but that's just me.

I can only imagine the hastle of going through the knives and matching them up with shipping labels but then again, Kevin Spark Spark put it out there.

Probably not a huge portion of the porch, but bear in mind the gates have not yet opened for internationals to put an order in.

The order thread has been up for less than a week. We have a lot of folks who don't log in daily.
In past years we have left the window open for preorders for several weeks for that reason. This would still be applicable as anyone who does not preorder will be paying extra. But it's up to Spark Spark .

I think it’ll be fine. I wouldn’t worry about it, if preorders remain around long, word will get around. There are hundreds of GEC fans that would want one of these, even not caring about the Bladeforums aspect of it.
