BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

I apologize. I should have elaborated more in my previous post. What I meant by the non-porch member comment was aimed at the non-paying members & those who have little to no postings at all on the forum.
I've noticed more than a few of them popping up who have just ignored reading Sparks requirements that he has posted in the original post & in a big banner at the top of the site.
It just wastes everyone's time having to remind them to look back & read.

I didn't mean any disrespect to you or the other forum members who hang out in different areas. I know we are all looking forward to this year's knife 👍

No disrespect or offense taken. I only said that because there are some who don't seem to realize that us non-slipjoint people want to have a Bladeforum knife, but can't seem to convince Spark to get Sebenzas made. (Joking on that part, I know how impossible that would be) But I do get the frustration people who can't read the rules must cause for Spark.

Good to see you in these parts!

....
All I can say is, I'm glad the forums get a forum knife, and I'm glad it's a traditional, which happens to directly benefit the more porch-ly minded.

100% this! If more than 100% was possible, I would even more this.

While it might make other parts of BladeForums happy to get a Forum Hinderer or somesuch, it would be a real kick in the pants for me. I'd much rather have a lightly gate-kept general forums knife that is also a traditonal.

I assume we will get a traditional this year, a tactical folder next yer, a multitool the year after that and then back to a traditional....... :)

We used to use Volkswagons as in, "Volkswagon sized rocks" or "Bigger than a Volkswagon" or "Half a Volkswagon". With the fading away of the original Beetle, this has become an archaic measuring system. Back in the day if you said you had a bunch of Volkswagon sized rocks, everybody knew what you were talking about. Except for geologists who tended to bristle at the VW metric :D

A lone wolf wondered from the pack? 😁
