BladeHQ Para 2 exclusive M4 w/ Jade G10

The Mac' 25 is my cold weather sipping whisky...when I can afford it.
I'm all about some aged rum in the warmer months. [emoji106]

That's your best bet right now- find one on the secondary market for $50 over original price.
Or you can wait for the upcoming CF version for $60 more.

If I'd missed this and wanted M4, I'd wait till next month for the KW version with CF handles.

Nice lanyard! Did you make that?

Thanks, I'm pretty sure it's a 4-5 year old Boker lanyard with glowing bead. Used to have some pretty uncool fringe hanging off of it till I cut them off.
I threaded on the SpyderBug that came on a black lanyard. The green just matched the jade scales better.

I want to publicly thank user bralexander for selling me his extra Jade M4 for actual price plus only shipping and PP fees. I received it today and it's already clip flipped and in my pocket.

Yes, that was pretty damn cool in a market where everybody is trying to make a buck on these. I can't find one under $200

I agree. He was a stand up guy helping a brother out. This is my first M4 blade and my first Sprint so it's extra special to me.

Added a subtle upgrade to the M4 and to my 0450 today. Probably the only thing I'll change about the paramilitary 2, everything else is perfect.

it's crazy that I've seen a bunch of people saying the detent on their knife is so strong it would barely open at first, when I just opened both of mine and they both flew out super smooth right away. When I hit the lock, the blade pretty much falls down with a slight tilt. Is that how it's meant to be?

Personally, I don't like for my blades to free drop. I'll tighten the pivot a hair if mine does. I open with my thumb all the way through the opening cycle until it's open. A free falling blade feels too light when you open it that way. I'll flick with my birdie finger sometimes, but mostly I keep my thumb in the hole all the way!

I've never had to tighten the pivot, is there a recommended method or thread for me to check out? I like to flick the PM2 open with my middle finger or thumb, but I'm not a fan of how easily it falls when the lock is engaged.

*a quick search on here and I'll figure it out

My older black on black PM2 opens smooth but doesn't flick. Well- I don't flick it and don't want to so haven't tested it. The blade falls freely.

The new M4 is stiff as its brand new. It's smooth but requires a push all the way until open. The blade doesn't budge when I open the lock. I have to close it manually. I suspect it will loosen over time.

it seems as though everyone's M4's arrived stiff and will allow it to loosen over time. I'm kind of annoyed both of mine did not arrive stiff/tight and I will have to tighten the pivot for my first time  I just don't like how easily the blade falls when I hit the lock when it's open

Really glad you posted this Vol!! That was an awesome move by him! I commented in that thread giving kudos to him.
Another member who was doing the same thing, looking to sell one at his cost, saw my post and sent me a PM to see if I needed one at the same price you paid. City74 is his handle and is stand up also!
Seen a few on the Exchange for $250......ouch!
Enjoy that beauty!
Joe
