Very cool. I butcher deer myself. Not as complex as cattle of course but, it is rewarding to literally put meat on the table.

I'm no expert. The cow was for a gentleman who had previously invited me to come learn. He was my neighbor, and had injured his knee, and needed the help/muscle. I'm confident I can Cape out a cow on it's own hide and quarter it on the ground now. That should extend to most sized animals in my neck of the woods (Washington). I've done deer and an elk. So it was nice to learn that the cow is just more work. And a lot more muscle needed. But doable.
 
I think the Mods should remove this^^^ Pic, it contributes to the obesity problem in America. ;) I just ate 20 min, ago and now I'm hungry. :eek: Plus, this is a knife forum and I don't even care about the knife (knives). :p
