BTW: Costco’s Kirkland brand bourbon is bottled by Barton 1792 and they have Small Batch, Bottled in Bond and Single Barrel, all in a quart bottles for great price. Juice is identical to the 1792 lines and it is a very good deal if you come across any of those :cool: :thumbsup:

Picked these up for 2x$25 and 2x$23 after shopping for sale items at Safeways 8 Lucky's.

That's what I heard.

Going to drop by mine tomorrow to see if they have any and will buy a case if they do. Then I can start drinking some of my "old stock." :)

Need a few other things there anyway.

In my travels, Buffalo Trace is consistently in the $25-30 range. I'll check Eagle Rare the next time I'm out.

They only allow one per person, so someone can't come in and buy everything up and not leave anything else for others.
 
Totally with you on this… I’d personally would go with any of the Blantons or much would prefer the 13 yo Russel on the back.

I'll check it out anyway anyway and I'll buy at least 1 but, if there's no limit, I'll buy a case. LOL! ;)

They are rationing it so that more people have a chance to get a bottle that's sought after and don't have to resort to paying secondary prices. It's not about hoarding as much as you can, gotta give some love to your fellow whisky lovers!

People would not feel the need to "stock up" if there weren't such disparities in availability & pricing.

One of my buds rarest bottles is some Taylor Tornado something or another. Just zoomed and I think I actually see it behind the russels.

Eta—oh wait thats the one you’re refering to. He said they hit 9k at one point and dropped to 6. Ridiculous.
