Yes, feels definitely more aged. Almost done with the experiment. I'm running two weeks, 4gr Amburana Chips per Liter of 70% Wheated (Green Label Weller) Bourbon,Extra Aged
30% Rye (Old Forester) for a week.
Will see how it goes by the end of next week and will report.
So far, 4grams of Chips, in 750ml BT 50abv Benchmark, 2 weeks time, gives me very "thick" and concentrated alcohol, not much drinkable as a stand alone drink.
I would say - it's great if one add about10-20% of it to an existing glass of your drink of choice. Tastes very pleasant, very close to any of the "Cigar..." blends.
