Had to ford that stream today.
First pic. Where I needed to go.
Second pic. Where I came from.
About a foot/foot and a half deep.
The rest of the Trek was mundane.
And then it got hot!! 88deg when I hit my pickup point of the day. Just 6.5 miles today and a planned 7.5 tomorrow. Supposed to be hotter.

Thanks but there was acid mine run off at some time in the past.

One is part of chest clasp,yellow is supposed to be a howler attached to zipper pull on pack. Tops is in the rfp.

So another mundane Trek!!
Flat game lands, rails to trails, double track. And instead of great streams and waterfalls we had rotten Ford Ecnoline!! 88deg when I reached my pick up point!!
Tomorrow’s supposed to be cooler and will be an 11 miler.
And hopefully more scenic!!

Thanks! Always nice to do hammocking even if just closeby. The night birds are starting to make their atmospheric singing and few drops of water raining on the tarp. Good stuff!Looks awesome, thanks for sharing

Mosquitod are starting to appear so little coverage is needed..
My Savotta Jääkäri M with all the accessories. Bundeswehr rain poncho at the top. Savotta ground pad at the bottom. Really happy with the Savotta gear and glad to support domestic maker. Night was a little cold for the arms (I don’t use underquilt) but slept better than I have ever slept.
Morning coffee with Aeropress Go. Really liking this coffee maker!
