Sure you do; here's one I'm going to read someday on my Kindle. I do the vast majority of my reading that way. History books and classics I usually also buy the hardcover to put on the shelf, which gives me a visual reminder of what I need to read.

I have no idea either; I just think it is fun to speculate about what kind of knife an historical figure might have carried. We know Lincoln carried a six bladed Congress, for example.

His photo in the jacket is taken by me when i was in Zurich for my research. He is an old friend, one of my best. For long time he is working in my country, for conservation. Haven't finish it yet.

Thanks Brett. It was my first gent's knife, before it was supplanted by my pearl serpentine. I think the swayback pattern pairs very well with ivory covers.
