blue S90V Military

Chiming in late but I ended up ordering one and got it in earlier this week. Love it! I don't know what you all are talking about, I personally think the blue looks great! Yeah, it is different, but I've got so many blades with black that it was nice to get a color that stood out and has a sweet steel to boot! Pricey but most likely worth it in the long run, now I don't have to fret about secondary pricing.
 
I bought one just for the blade. I cant complain about the price at all. I expected to pay more after looking at the second market prices. I couldn't care less about the G10 scales. Pretty sure this S90V blade will end up in my Fluted Ti-Mil
 
I'm not a huge fan of the Smurf blue either, but, it's hard to pass up a Military in S90V or any other steel for that matter :D
 
I just ordered one, and had no problem paying what BBS is asking for these, but I think it's totally worth it. Yeah $269 is a price a lot of people won't pay for one, but that's ok it's they're loss. The Military is my all time favorite knife, period.
 
It seems like I remember everyone loving the PM2 with blue scales, but not as much love for the Military with blue G10:confused: Makes me want my Cru Wear Mili more.

I thought the same thing, BBS isn't making enough money on their site that they have to gouge the less informed on ebay?

No way I will ever be buying from them now. Oh well, I hope Spyderco does not do another exclusive with them.

Yeahhhh ... this is just a shady business practice. It's bad enough that they're selling at MSRP, but to go to ebay and gouge even more is just despicable.

It doesn't make sense, the BBS Blue Millie got bid to $392 but here's another that only got bid to $270: http://www.ebay.com/itm/L-K-NEW-Spy...385?pt=Collectible_Knives&hash=item4611899a89

just pennies over the BBS price. $120 difference? Makes me wonder if a little shill bidding wasn't going on?

I got my Military yesterday and I've got to say, it's worth every penny. Now that's I've got it in hand I'm liking the blue as well. Couldn't be happier. Thanks for the amazing knife Spyderco! Glad I didn't spend $400+ on it though

By the time you subtract ebay/pp fees the total made would be well under the BBS price. It would be about a $35 loss.

I can't post links to live auctions but that same eBayer has it re-listed with a BIN price of $325+$8 shipping. Selling at That amount would at least get your money back out of it and make a small profit, about $12 or so.

Right you are. I actually thought that was an other bentoboxshop auction. I should read a little closer next time
 
I love the Smurf blue but I don't care how you slice it, that knife is overpriced. Can't wait for the Cru-wear Millie. :)
