That is a very troubling revelation.

This is as reprehensible as any of his supporters who’ve come here to do their equally cheap “hit and run” posts, acting in concert as concerned by-standers.

I still maintain that this situation was one of mutual distrust that got out of hand and that was dealt with. I also maintain that him coming here and revisiting grief is a sign of character flaw on the part of the thread starter.

As an example -

Say the FBI did a statewide manhunt compete with wanted posters. They caught their man, tried and convicted him. He did his time and is now out on the street - a rehabilitated private citizen.

Then, one month later, the FBI figures they still don’t like the man; see that they have a bunch of extra posters laying around; then figure, “What the hell; we’ve got all these posters around. Why dont’ we put them up in neighboring states and then get this guy arrested and tried all over again for the same deed?”

If the FBI did this - what would that say about them?

That's right boinker, look at the date of my post. Nov.23 not Dec.23. When this stuff happens people need to know. Knife people need to be alerted to a rip off. And I only told the guy it happened to, to post about it.But not to drag it up after a month and it's been settled.It was over.

First off, Lifter, you should not threaten physical harm, as other USN members have done. It's bad form and also leaves a trail. You ought to know that.

Moreover, you're on the wrong track, LIfter.

Talking about Ken ... ask him next time about Chris, who's my older brother. Those two could take a building down, the way that they joust. Lawrence High School days and stuff.

Lifter - Did Kyle give you my apology that I asked him to? I was very sorry at that time for getting nasty. Sorry for the current nose-tweaking. I mean this in earnest and will continue to try and make amends with you.

And I was supposed to know you were a moderator at the USN how? I asked for an explanation why you wanted them removed. I didn't get it, so I left them alone.

I didn't find out you were an administrator until I checked into it. You title says 'usual suspect tech support', not moderator or administrator.

Now, you ban me from the USN because I left a link posted, and reposted a dead one? Geez, I guess me remaining neuteral in this mess was a waste of time.

Again, I will state that I left the links in the thread so that everyone could have as much information on this subject, and make their own judgement. For my efforts, I get banned from the USN.

I guess no one here needs to know the whole story, huh? Let them all flap in the wind.

Wolfmann, if Spark and Eric had an agreement on link posting, and I was made aware of such, as a moderator of this forum, I would have removed the links right away, so we didn't break any agreements. I was not told by Spark, or a Super, to remove the links, and as I have been stating, I left them so people could have the whole story. Thats something you have been adamant about in the past, Ira, but when it comes to the USN, you're on the other side of the fence? Make up your mind.

I'm done with this. This was a BBQ to begin with, and I am out of BBQ sauce.

I understand that the great knife purveyor, Les Robertson, was banned from USN also. We stand in good company.

... sort of feels like three guys in the hoosegow --- "What are you banned for?", they ask one another.
 
Does anyone remember that Seinfeld episode where Kramer was banned from the fruit store for complaining about a peice of fruit?

Threads like these do have a beneficial side effect. They liven up what would normally be a business-as-usual day on the forums.

Anyone can have at least one bad hair day. Mine was with the thread starter, whose decision to pursue me after an agreement and on foreign soil is perhaps now blowing up in his face. He must be getting a good b*tch slapping on USN.

Good for him.

Well, since the thread is expressly about me, I figure why not take advantage and post a sampling of emails I have received regarding my knife deals, both before and after my one unfortunate situation with the thread starter.

I would not expect these folks to weigh in on this thread as they would not want to be crucified by certain vindictive parties that would have no qualm in doing so.
