After looking at measurements and comparing to knifes I already have, I realized the BFF would likely not fit my hand/ fingers very well. If the handle was grooved like the Nessmi Pro it would probably work. Boxer fixed blade and the Cub look like a better fit for me. My brain is grinding away this evening. That Boxer fixed is slightly larger than the folder, and I really like the folder.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of those! Knife decisions give me a headache too!
The only one of those that you listed, that I have, is the Nessmi. It's a perfect fit for my medium sized mitt.

I have the Boker Plus Nessmi Pro - I think it's the same size as the Nessmi, just different steel, jimping location, lighter-colored micarta, manufacture location... my Nessmi fits, mostly, but the handle slightly squeezes my middle two fingers a together a bit. The AB Meerkat is smaller and also fits me due to the design of the handle. I just feel more comfortable having a better grip on a fixed blade, either from contouring or an actual larger handle. I'll try to get a couple photos here in a bit.
 
All my usual sized Barlow knives are three finger knives... I'm picturing the BFF as a fixed version of that knife, so I think it's going to be perfect for pocket EDC duties.

I do like that knife! I found myself on the Boker site looking at the specs the other day.

My thoughts also. If I like a knife enough, I'll make it work for me.
Most of the smaller fixed blades I have are 6" or less, with a handle size similar to the BFF. I think I'm going to like it a lot!

It's a great little knife! The Nessmi I have is the one made in Solingen. The Nessmi Pro is the same size. Had a hard time finding the Solingen Nessmi, and had purchased a pro. When I finally found the one I have, I gave the Pro to my son, along with a book on Nessmuk.

I really like the looks of that Nessmi!

Looks like Boker has a couple new Barlow models on the way with copper bolsters and choice of ironwood or black burlap micarta. I bet those will look great with a little wear and character...

I really like Ironwood, and love the looks of the Copper/ Ironwood. Not sure if I would actually use the thing... :confused:
 
I’m definitely getting at least the Micarta…ah…what the heck…I’m getting both, but we need to stop talking about them, and @Smithhammer…what are you thinking? Posting pictures! If you keep this up everyone will want one! 🤣🤣🤣
