Thought you were selling one, and you get another? Must have been a good deal.

I put my blued Brute up for sale for a day.
I just couldn't bring myself to do it...
And yeah, I worked out a mutually beneficial trade for the second. :D

I'd have a hard time selling mine too.

And maybe like a quarter inch drive one for sockets, with an adapter to fit drive bits, corkscrew for black ops wine bottles, broadheads, or an extension to make it a tactical special forces buttscratcher... All made out of xplowzyen bonded titanium/s30v... All I see is dollar signs!!! ;)

Yeah, chevys have the solenoid on the starter, which is what made it hard to jump it. I much prefer my fords with the solenoid on the fender, the starters don't need shims on Fords either.

At first I didn't notice a draw when I turned the key to the start position but after work just for the heck of it I tried again in both park and neutral to see if it was the neutral safety switch and I thought I noticed the dash lights dim and the vent fan slow down so I'm guessing the ignition switch and NSS are working and trying to send power to the starter. The Solenoid would be the easiest to fix too. If that's what it is than this shouldn't interrupt my plans to go camping Sunday with the King.

I think it works better to go in through the fender well, over the tire rather than lay under the truck to do the screwdriver start. I was a Chevy dealership mechanic before I broke my back. I have jumped these hundreds of times.

I hope you make your camping trip. I think Im subscribed to your channel, I need to check and make sure.

I had considered that but at the time it seemed like the frame and exhaust manifold were preventing that.

I'm just gonna leave this here while I go pull that starter.

The 4 is a good knife.
Dont know about the LS. It's never appealed to me.

A CM-6? Looks nice, a little different, and designed by Ethan's friend Terrill Hoffman (of PYP fame). I'd say take some cash, get 'em in hand and then decide.

I'd have a hard time selling mine too.

I seriously doubt I'd part with mine. It's really the only "collectible" knife I have - and it's still a user.

Well, the starter and solenoid tested good so I gambled $17 on an ignition switch. I suppose I should check the fuses too while I'm at it before playing another round of part-darts.

Mauser, get down here and finish this thing so I can go camping. :D
