Bose Knives

OK, I have seen darn near every page of this thread and it was like a religous experience. I have been BFC Member for just past 2 years now and I have just in the last couple of weeks been in the Traditional Forum. These are some of the most beautiful knives I have ever seen. I just sit and stare!!!! It's hard to decide if they should never leave a pocket or if they belong in an Art Museum??? The amount of hours spent on the Form Function and Design must be enormous! Not to mention the Level of Skill and out & out Pride put into each piece... I build Large Manufacturing Equipment for a living and I got to tell ya, the knives I have seen in this thread alone just inspire me to put in little extra somthing into the next project I work on! The photos are Stellar! Now I just have to figure out ONE style that I would like to acquire first. Great Thread All!!! Thanks... ~kevin~

Just a short note of appreciation to Tony and Reese, without whom, this thread would be useless. Their devotion to the knife business and the quality that they produce is beyond anyone's expectations. Tony has shared his knowledge so unselfishly and to most any makers that ask for help. I just asked a newer slip joint maker to make a pattern for me that I knew Tony had because I own one of them by him. I emailed Tony and asked for permission for the use of the pattern. Tony responded and the pattern is on the way to be made up for me. Tony is one great guy and I for one appreciate all he has done for the old collectors like me. And I know the makers appreciate him too. Thanks Tony and Reese for the knives and the willingness to share both knowledge and personal patterns.

Just another knife nut,
Jim
BTW: Kudos to Vince for starting this thread.

Bose knives with remote control. Who'd a thunk it? A true to life "Techna-Bose Bendin' in the Middle Pocket Knife" !!

Yeah OK I'm coming clean , you can all pile up & bust my chops,I can take it,at least I think I can
Really though,a week or so ago,I was working on this house that overlooks LI Sound with a view & since the fall fishing here is about to bust loose,I wanted to catch some fish for dinner (if I was to see some action) & try my Reese BP as a fillet-er.I think the blade is perfect for it I had it on me & since I put sandpaper in my BP,the Reese wasn't gonna go there, and in my front left pocket she was turning sideways & on a ladder,it was dam uncomfortable
So,I remembered Blues talking about Ron Ryder,I think I may have even made fun of him, about his BP man pouch!! Imagine that, now I have one for the BP & side pocket, too! Now,these are to hold this knife vertically.
Gives me great carry options, these are great I did not get a pic of the BP one,bur here is the "buckaroo" in my left pocket.

These are great!

It's kinda like those mittens that would button to your coat sleeve so you wouldn't lose them.

Ok, so I haven't been on here too much because the financial markets are crashing and unfortunately, I am a banking lawyer...so I've been putting in a bit of time at work. Anyways, I honestly don't know which of my knives I have posted over time in this thread, but I do not think I have posted these. Just didn't want you guys to forget about me...

Courtesty of some fella on the "Bay", T. Bose and J. Nugent Collab (tony did the steel and john did the scales) -- a/k/a "Tick" -- if anyone would like to help make a sheath for this, shoot me a PM

Sorry about the overtime, Campbell! Thanks for taking a moment. Those are some nice ones!!!

That's a lot of sweet Rem bone on that Moose. Great looking ivory on the desk knife and a great WT by Reese to boot.

So first the Vols and now the economy...

I gave up on the Vols a long time ago. I have definitely become a fair-weather fan. The only orange I hold sacred anymore is.....

Not the ring, but the knife...
